Aimee did my hair and make up for my recent wedding, and was fantastic! She made me feel so comfortable, and captured exactly what I was hoping for. I would recommend Aimee to everyone!

Aimee Long is an incredibly talented and professional hair and make up artist. I recently got married and Aimee (with the help of her lovely assistant Marci) did mine, my mum and 3 bridemaid’s hair and make up for my wedding day. From the first point of contact, through to the trial (which was a lot of fun) and the wedding day itself, Aimee put us all at ease and gave us the most wonderful experience. She was incredibly responsive to our requests and needs, and particularly for me as the bride created such a natural but flattering look for my wedding day; exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t have felt more special on the day. I would highly recommend Aimee Long hair and make up and will be to all my friends and family!

Aimee did an amazing job of our hair and make up on my wedding day. She knew exactly how we wanted it and made sure we knew what she had done. She has a great knowledge of what she was doing and I could not recommend her more. She made us all feel beautiful!

Aimee recently did my wedding hair and make up as well as my bridesmaids. She was excellent to work with and created the most wonderful hair styles. She has been so friendly throughout the whole process, she has answered all of my silly little questions quickly and without judgement. Aimee did both my hair and make-up for my wedding in September. From the first contact with Aimee, she was polite and professional and always responded promptly to my queries. She's a really warm and friendly person and puts you at ease straight away. I was slightly nervous as I don't normally wear much make-up, and didn't want to look like 'someone different', but Aimee knew exactly what to do to simply make me a better version of myself. I was really happy with my hair and make-up on the trial day, which she took careful notes and pictures of so she could replicate on the day. My make-up stayed put until midnight, and everyone commented on how beautiful my hair looked. Aimee helped me to have the confidence to really shine on my big day, and when I look back at my photos, I can't quite believe that was me! I would thoroughly recommend Aimee as a truly professional and at the same time thoroughly lovely person.

Aimee recently did my hair and make up for my wedding day, as well as the make up for my four bridesmaids. And she was fantastic! She listened to what we liked and each of us felt happy and pretty, but also like ourselves. One of my bridesmaids had a bad eye and another had not really worn make up before, Aimee accommodated all of this and worked her magic around this, both ladies were so pleased with the results. I felt beautiful in my hair and make up for the first time. Ths make up also stayed in all night, through a meal and energetic dancing. My hair, sadly, did not fully survive an encounter with a very drunk aunt at 11pm. But had not moved until then and frankly, not much would have survived that particular encounter…Aimee was also such a cheery and calming presence on the day. Which did much to help us al out. Aimee is friendly and relaxed and instantly made me feel at ease on the morning of my wedding. I didn't have time for a trial and yet Aimee got both my hair and make-up spot on. I felt great all day :) I couldn't rate Aimee more highly!

Aimee is such a talent with make-up! We had a great make-up trial beforehand where we got to try different looks - including false eyelashes for the first time! She was so helpful - it was like she could read our minds in terms of the make-up looks we were going for. Aimee created beautiful natural looks that lasted ALL day and night. She was so friendly with the wedding party and made our little niece feel special on the day too. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend Aimee to anyone who is in need of a professional make-up artist in future. Aimee came to our house with a treasure chest full of quality make up and hair products on the day of my wedding. She put me at ease with her sense of humour and air of calmness, and made me feel confident and beautiful, even when heavily pregnant, after three hours sleep! She also made my flower girl feel like a princess with some hair curls and clips. Aimee is immensely skilled and professional at what she does, and has a great network as she even managed to find me a fantastic nail technician at short notice. Many thanks, would highly recommend!

Aimee did my hair and make-up for my wedding, as well as my bridesmaid and mum. Coming from someone who is completely useless at make-up, Aimee's knowledge made the whole experience extremely easy and really put me at ease. My mum was a bit unsure as to what style would best suit her hair but Aimee was able to help her decide on a style which suited her wonderfully - she actually paid to have her hair and make-up done for an event a few weeks later and, though nice, found it be nowhere near as good as what Aimee did. Aside from her abundance of skill and knowledge, Aimee is just a genuinely lovely person and, whether she knew it or not, helped to keep me calm while getting ready. She even helped do up my dress when my sister's nails got in the way! Also I have quite sensitive skin and often find make-up can look "flaky" however I didn't have this problem on the big day, thanks to Aimee's advice during my make-up trial and the high quality make-up she used. 100% would recommend Aimee to anyone who asked and will definitely keep her in mind for any future events.

Aimee did my hair and make-up for my recent wedding at the end of May, she also did my sisters hair and make-up and we had a trial. From start to finish Aimee was approachable and professional. When we went for our trial she talked about what it was we both wore normally and what kind of styles we liked so when we'd got to the end of the first go at doing hair and make-up it was perfect. My sister between the trial and wedding changed her mind about how to have her hair but Aimee wasn't phased my this at all and a new style was done without a problem. On the morning of the wedding Aimee was on time (early even) and got us ready calmly and wasn't put of by our photographer (even when asked to move her station around for the photo's). In fact Aimee was so keen to ensure the morning went as calmly as possible for me that she didn't even tell me she'd dropped her phone whilst getting me ready and it wasn't working right.
