If you are selling or letting a property is the UK, there is a legal requirement to obtain an Energy Performance Certificate. Agent Green provide a cost effective alternative to using an Estate Agent. Your EPC remains your property throughout the sale process or in the event that you change agents. Agent Green offer simple on-line ordering system, secure payment and easy download of your EPC once completed. We offer a fix fee of £52. 50 all inclusive (any property up to 4 bedrooms - anywhere in the UK). We guarantee never to charge you more and include a free key collection service that many other providers charge for.

EPCs are required not only for selling and renting, but also if you are intending to install renewable technology such as Solar PV or Air Source Heat Pumps. Solar PV will attract a Government subsidy known as Feed in Tariff - in order to apply for this you will require an EPC with an minimum rating of D.

Other technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal receive a Government subsidy known as the Renewable Heat Incentive. This will require an EPC and although the rating does not need to achieve D the EPC must not show any recommendations for either Cavity Wall Insulation or Loft Insulation. In simple terms these works will need to completed before your renewable Technology is installed.
