By replacing 2 switches and replacing elements, 3 storage heaters were brought back to full capacity. The prompt and speedy service was particularly appreciated as we called him in the middle of a particularly cold weather. I certainly recommend AEW Electrical.

A new LED light with micro sensor was installed in our wee close by AEW. Really quick service, clean and tidy. I didn’t even have to be home, so it was great that I could trust the service. Would definitely recommend if you needed this type of work to be carried out.

Andy, the proprietor, is incredibly knowledgeable about tenement stair lighting. He did a brilliant job upgrading our old stair lights to LED with a new astro timer and fusebox. His work is very neat, and we're confident that the new system give reliable service for many years.

Andy suggested and fitted a microwave sensor LED lamp as the most suitable replacement for our common vestibule. His work was excellent. He was prompt, tidy and very generous with his knowledge. Absolutely worth every penny not only for his work but also his expert, cost saving advice. Go LED!

The lights on our stair were out of sync and some were broken entirely. AEW Electrical gave us quotes for several options. We opted for replacing the full replacement of the old fluorescent tubes with LEDs and the old Astroclock with a new digital version. Andy was able to do the job promptly and quickly and we're very pleased with the result.

After having problems with the timing clock on our stair lighting due to a power cut we got in touch with AEW Electrical, having used the internet to find a reliable person to repair the clock. They were very prompt in coming to repair the clock and gave us a quote for re-lamping from fluorescent to led lights and a new Astro control clock as the old one was past its best. Once all the neighbours agreed to the refit AEW were contacted and the work was completed within a matter of days, with minimal disruption to the stair. The work carried out was done to a very high standard and the results are excellent as visibility in the stair has improved vastly. After the work was carried out there was no mess to clean up as he cleaned up as he went. We did get another quote, but over all the value for money offered by AEW was very good and the the fittings are of excellent standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending AEW.

We had our stair lighting upgraded to LED lighting by AEW Electrical after experiencing failures in our old fluorescent lights. In discussing the options for the upgrade, we initially had a lot of queries from the tenants in the building, but Andy was extremely patient in providing detailed answers to them, allowing us to come to an informed concensus. He was very efficient with the job, and we are very happy with the outcome.

We are very happy with the communal stair lighting LED upgrade completed by AEW Electrical. The quote was completed, all questions answered, and the job completed very quickly and efficiently, with excellent communication throughout. The lighting fixtures were cleaned and straightend, converted to LED, a new timer clock installed and everything generally tidied up and improved. Very highly recommended!

AEW were the only electrician who would provide me with a proper quote for mending our tenement stair lights - we knew that at least one fitting needed to be replaced as well as the clock. The quote was very thorough and reasonable and the work was done the same day as the quote was accepted. Minimum fuss, absolutely no drama and very, very cost effective. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing this service.

I emailed AEW Electrical when tenants reported that the stair lighting had failed. They were quick to respond and by resetting the clock got the lights working again. Our lighting system was antiquated so we upgraded to LED lighting which AEW Electrical were able to do promptly and on budget. Our tenants report that the stairs are now really well lit. It came with a one year parts and labour guarantee which is reassuring.

Andrew provides an excellent service. Communication with him was first class, all queries were handled quickly to my satisfaction. The work he did was satisfactory, installation was done in one visit and he left after clearing and cleaning the premises. I recommend him to anyone needing a good tradesmen.
