Adrian Ward Magic

This is very belated review and appraisal to Adrian Ward for making my daughter's 6th birthday one to remember! The children and parents alike enjoyed his show thoroughly. I was struggling to find the right entertainment at short notice, and then I found Adrian. He agreed the six hour round trip approximately to save the day. It was the first time I had ever hired an entertainer so I wasn't quite sure what to expect; however Adrian exceeded my expectations! He put me at ease and made sure everyone had a great time, to the point of inspiring other parents to hire entertainers for their children's parties. I must say that I haven't yet been to a birthday party with similar entertainment so I'm sure Adrian certainly made our party one to remember. :) My daughter's party was back in February 2017 so it's been a while; however despite my terrible organisational skills I have finally done what Adrian so deserves and that is to share my thoughts and compliment him greatly. Adrian provided some wonderful magic at the wedding of our son Michael and Ana. He really got the feel for the way they wanted the event to be - informal, fun and special and by working his magic helped everyone feel relaxed and ready to mix with other guests who they did not know. The magic card tricks were terrific fun and I still cannot work out how Adrian got the £20 note inside a kiwi! He went round all the tables and guests doing various card tricks and engaging with the guests. He was with us for several hours from after the ceremony until the disco. Adrian is a true professional and is able to talk with everyone in a great way. Adrian added a to of fun and laughter to this wedding event. Whatever you say I think it was fantastic!

Adrian was absolutely superb! He mingled with our guests (aged 2-82years) to delight them with a variety of close up magic. As we had a small gathering he then delivered a short family show offering our younger guests the chance to shine with him in creating magic but, his real talent was definitely with the adult audience, leaving them amazed and genuinely astounded at the tricks he performed! He even themed the stories of his tricks to tie in with our celebration- making it feel very personal. A pleasure to have in our home and join our celebrations.

Absolutely amazing! Kept 40 kids glued to their seats for 2 hours! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Adrian performed at our wedding and thoroughly entertained our guests. He was amazing and our guests couldn't stop talking about him. He is extremely friendly and captivates you with his performance. We cannot thank him enough for helping to make our day fantastic. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

To say that Adrian is mesmerising is an understatement. Being challenged to provide entertaining for children aged 3-9 seemed unachievable, luckily I came across Adrian’s website. He not only succeeded in this this feat, he smashed all expectations. The show was extremely entertaining, the children were entranced and parents were mind boggled by his ability to hold the children’s attention. Adults were not left out, after the magical experience of seeing their children completely taken by a 45 minute show it was their turn to be astounded by Adrian’s one to one, up and personal wizardry. This is someone I will definitely have come back, and people who pass him by online should take a second look and consider him first on their list as THE person to make their event very special.

Adrian made our wedding unique, he was punctual and friendly. He brought the groups within the wedding together and made the day complete. I would recommend Adrian to anyone who wants a unique and magical wedding.

What can we say about Adrian…. He made the day amazing for all our guests. We had a large number of children he entertained them during our speaches with their own manic show. As with any wedding there were guests that didn't know each other he made them feel at home and got them all talking. Thank you very much Mr and Mrs Waghorn.

Adrian was great. His personality really sets him apart from other magicians. He gets the guests going, gets them interested and excited. He is great with kids and adults. Some of the tricks he did were amazing…we all especially likeduring the kiwi trick! Adrian performed at our wedding party and I'd recommend him to anyone for their wedding.

We have used Adrian twice now and he is brilliant. He entertains all ages - even the adults. We had 40 children and for 2 hours Adrian shows magic, interacts fantastically with the children, organised party games and did close up magic with the adults whilst the children ate. A truly 5-star job from Adrian, booked on a recommendation as I had never seen his performance. My 50 party guests, aged from 3 to 79, all RAVED about Adrian, he was the hit of the day. Brilliant entertaining the children aged up to 12, who also enjoyed getting a free wand, and some super smart table tricks for the adults who were in awe, and despite their best efforts, could not figure out how Adrian did it. Generous with his time and lovely company, Adrian gets my recommendation unreservedly. You will not regret bringing Adrian to your function, a skilled professional who has a great engagement with people without interrupting event flow.

Well I have to say it was my idea to get a magician. I couldn't have chosen a better one. You were perfect in terms of getting everyone together, and your tricks … well amazing. You were tailor made to help with the start of the Wedding photos, right through to the end of the Wedding Breakfast. The family, all of our friends, loved you…. And Skyler…. We booked Adrian for our 5 year old twin sons birthday party. I had seen him perform for children before and both boys had surprisingly been active participants. I am always a little cautious as both boys can at times be a little clingy, but I need not have worried. From the moment Adrian arrived he engaged with the boys. The party was a huge success, with all of the parents present commenting on how well he engaged and captivated the children. I noticed a number of the parents being really impressed with some of the tricks too. I usually find doing children's parties is quite stressful, on this occasion I didn't at all. Adrian was organised, good at communicating with me, arrived on time and most importantly a fantastic entertainer. I would happily recommend Adrian to everyone. Adrian entertained our guests at our daughtersChristening. He performed a magic family show for the children and also mingled between the guests entertaining them with tricks. The kids very much enjoyed the show (and the grown ups too) he had a fantastic rapport with them. The walk around was a great conversation starter for the various different groups who didn't know each other. Adrian is a very trustworthy and kind person who has a lovely way of putting people at ease, I personally have no reservations in recommending him 100% You will not regret having him entertain you at your special event.

Excellent two evenings for our scout troop. Very good with all ages and keep the scouts entertained for a good hour. Thoroughly recommend for any event. I also saw Adrian perform at an adults only function and he was brillant.

Instead of wondering how he did it, Adrian left us feeling like magic truly exists. The tricks are amazing, it was a wonderful way to fill the time between the ceremony and reception and also between courses at dinner. I would definitely recommend Adrian for any type of function and hope to be able to employ his services for a future event.

Adrian entertained the guests at my Silver Wedding celebrations with various magic tricks. Many guests commented after the event how much they had enjoyed Adrian's performance and they were intrigued and mystified how he had performed the tricks! Adrian engages well with people of all ages and knows how to keep them entertained.

We first met Adrian at a wedding fair in January 2015. We firstly walked past the room he was in thinking 'there is no way we want a magician at our wedding'. My teenage daughter persuaded us to visit him as she was interested in seeing a trick or two. His style, personality &, of course, magic skills dumbfounded us and after thinking about it, we decided we couldn't not have him at our wedding. Fast forward 9 months and our wedding day arrived. Adrian blended in with our guests as we hadn't told any of them we had hired a magician. He was there early to 'get a feel' for our venue and was right on time to entertain our guests straight after our ceremony until our evening guests arrived. I could go on for pages about how great he was and how he wowed our guests but that is really all I need to say because that is exactly what he did with a balance of knowing when to stand back too. Everyone was still talking about him the next morning at breakfast and, as another reviewer has said, without giving anything away, he was worth it for the kiwi trick alone.
