Alan was a pleasure to work with. He was patient with our indecision and, worse, with late changes and requests for alterations to existing plans. A wonderful quality was his ability to listen and respond to our interests and needs and to let these direct the process. He is conscious of and responsible to budgets, good with people (clients and contractors for example) and very clear in explaining the maze of building and planning regs. Alan's process and attitude turned what could be a highly stressful process into an exciting and creative one, and one that did not send us into the red. He is a pleasure to work with.
