About Adam Can Fix Your Computer


Established in January 2007, to provide home and businesses IT support, repairs and upgrades on Windows, Mac and Linux Computers within the South East London and the North West Kent region.

Home visits at no extra cost. After repair care includes free email and telephone support.

I can assure you Adam CAN fix your computer! :) Was lucky enough to live in the same building as Adam when my macbook pro broke down in the middle of a tutoring session. He knew about the knacks and difficulties with this particular mac series and fixed it - I didn't lose any of my data and my 12-year old laptop is still up and running.

I contacted Adam for help with a PC I'd purchased which needed a heatsink removed and replaced. Adam said he could come over the next day (a Saturday) and did the job with no fuss. It looked like a much bigger job than expected as required taking lots of the case apart but the price remained as quoted. Definitely recommended.

My husband brought his laptop to Adam for fix the laptop cooler, he asked my husband to send £13. 99 for the payment for the part of the laptop need. My husband also sent the money. But after send the money for the part my husband wait one week because the part of laptop he said he will order. After one week we brought the laptop to him for fix. After one day he gave back the laptop he said already fix. My husband tried there in his house th laptop works that few seconds while he try but when arrived the house after few minutes use, the laptop cooler stop again. We brought back to him because he said have warranty. But the laptop stayed there two weeks again but he did not do anything only keep there, he has a lot of excuses. My husband called him many times to asked about the status of laptop but he don't answer. He is unprofessional type. My husband told him that he want to get the laptop and want refund. He said if want to refund need to wait 7 working days. But this is the worst until now already more than one month he don't refund the money. My husband talked to him nice but he unprofessional type that's why I decide to write in the review. After this experience we don't recommend him. He will find million of excuses for everything he is professional in this. My husband waste money and time only with him. My husband has proof for everything in email and text message.Moreexpand_more
Response : With regards these people were very rude to begin with, the fan on the laptop was caked in dust due to customer negligence and failed. I ordered a new one and it was in the post from overseas so yes a slower delivery of parts but I am particular about what I buy. The part was working and fine, I don't just install parts and expect it to work. The issue could have been faulty new parts with reasonable people this could have been solved instead virtually snatched and snapped at this. Nothing I can do but replace faulty parts, given the time. That period was very busy and the customer just expect clicked fingers and service. Sorry not how it works.Moreexpand_more

I had high hopes because of good reviews, but I am bitterly disappointed with Adam's work. I called him in because my Dell P. C. Over 3 months continually freezes. He suggested a 2 hour booking at £80 to clear the problem. He has not solved the problem saying it is common to Dell and calls it pausing, He has also left a lot of new problems. He promised a full refund but after two weeks it has not come despite reminders. How unprofessional can you get ?
Response : When I visited Robin I performed my usual cleanup and diagnostics which you can see historically has proven successful from other reviews. His computer had an intermittent glitch where it paused and the mouse freezes, I tested the hard disk no SMART errors, I ran a memory test, no errors. I run Dell's own diagnostic tool no errors. I have seen it before and I asked the customer to tell me to monitor what he does before it hangs, and so a process of elimination can find the problem. I also said I would not charge more to return after the monitoring period. Shortly after I received abusive phone calls from him and shouted down the phone by his wife. I declined to speak to him until he calmed his behavior as it was not conducive to resolving the problem. I called back but there was still the attitude and I declined to assist further. I do not offer no fix no fee as I ensure faults are resolved or solutions found. Customer did not allow a chance to resolve issue or speak to calmly.Would have gladly spent the time to solve the problem given a chance and the correct attitudes.Moreexpand_more

I contacted Adam on Sunday about fixing my husband's laptop. He got back to me really quickly and was able to come to our house the following morning. He spent nearly 4 hours here and only charged for 2, and my husband is really pleased with how much better the laptop is working. Highly recommended.

Adam fixed my computer in less then 3 hours. I had it back the same day. He put all the missing drivers on and also an anti virus program and cleaner. He is a computer genius and he knows what he is doing. My laptop runs perfectly.

I asked Adam to fix my daughter's laptop screen which was cracked. He quoted me a price and when I picked it up it was actually cheaper than his quote. How many companies would do that! Adam fixed screen super quickly and I can't recommend his service more highly. I would not go to anybody else in future as you cannot beat perfect service.

Asked Adam to repair a cracked laptop screen and he had done it within the week. And he'd used a reclaimed screen which made it cheaper for me. So I'm very happy. Thank you Adam. Would definitely use you again.

Contacted Adam after a (normally) fatal head-crash on my external hard drive. With nearly ten years of photos etc on there, and without any backed-up, (never again! ), I was naturally desperate to get them back, if possible. Adam tried numerous ways to recover the data, each time getting better and better results. In the end, he was able to recover nearly 90% of 'lost' data. His tenacity and perservance was admirable and worth every penny. The moral of the story is back up your data, if you don't, contact Adam! I'm glad I did.

My laptop was running very slowly and the browser kept showing issues. Unfortunately I was overseas at the time. Adam quickly responded to my plea for help and guided me through a process to get me going again. He kept in touch during and afterwards to check on progress. A meeting was arranged upon my return to the UK. Very reasonable rates. Very satisfied with the diagnosis and treatment. The prognosis is good. Will use again, if I need more work. 'Penfold'.

Computer was severely corrupted with virus issues. Problems resolved by Adam quickly and effectively with careful explanation given of what was carried out and how to prevent pop-up issues from re-emerging. Computer issues/problems now fully resolved. Very pleased with service given and would highly recommend Adam professional expertise to others.

My desktop computer was very slow and clogged up, and my wife's laptop wasn't functioning well and wouldn't connect to the internet. Adam cleaned and removed a variety of bugs and unwanted temporary files from the desktop model and updated its firewall and similar protection software. It is now much faster. He also fixed the laptop which now functions smoothly. He came very promptly and his charges were less than expected. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others with similar problems to mine.

We phoned Adam in desperation to retrieve data from a disk that was failing and could not be read by our computers. He began to work on it immediately upon receiving the disk and kept in contact with us throughout the process. We had our data the next day! I had numerous problems with my PC including a non functioning screen and no internet connection. Adam responded to my call very quickly and came to the house at the weekend. He spent over two hours cleaning up the computer and providing lots of advice and guidance. I was especially appreciative because I work from home regularly and must have internet access to do this.
