ACS Transmission Service

I CAN NOT WAIT FOR KARMA TO CATCH UP WITH THIS "MAN". Lowest of the low, stealing off people when times are hard enough. He has had my car for over a year now. Police involved, car now needs scrapped as countless parts been "stolen" from it whilst it sits on his forecourt. Over £1500 down the drain. Empty promises for over a year. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! BIGGEST CONMAN IN THE INDUSTRY!

Charged £750, didn't fix the problem. I'm waiting for an invoice for 2 months. Not responding for calls and texts. Avoid.

My Mazda Demio was making a grinding noise and my garage said it was the transmission but they could not repair it and advised me that another client had tried to get a repair in Edinburgh which had not worked but cost £1,000. They advised that nothing could be done. I took it to Adam at ACS Transmission in Broxburn. I had no high hopes and the car was there for several weeks as Adam was ill. I only got answer machine when telephoning, which was frustrating. He needs a secretary or a better way of communicating. But in due course he had the car fixed. He said it was a bearing in the differential that had to be replaced. I had thought the car might need to be scrapped so I was delighted that Adam was able to repair it. Had my bmw at my local garage told me it is my gear box without looking at it and recommended another garage took it to them they told me gearbox check the web and found adam at acs and it was local 2 mins down the road adam had a look and diagnosed it was the vvt that was causing the gearbox to go into safe mode and that there was nothing wrong with the gearbox so took it to another garage to get the vvt changed they came back with vvt fault and problem with gearbox which would cost 3500 just for a gearbox phoned adam again he took it back in to garage replaced the vvt cleared the fault and the car is running again cant praise adam as much as I would like to an honest man so if u think u have a fault with you're gearbox check out adam at ACS first before visiting half the garages that will want to charge you a fortune for an easy fix so folks just because the transsmision fault comes on it aint always the gearbox.

Great customer service, he went beyond the call of duty to come out to see my car ne night to see if he could see the problem there and then, after some advice agreed to take a closer look later in the week, brilliant service and great to see a trust worthy business about.

Done a great job on my fusion will use him all the time now. Nice honest guy.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from ACS Garage, my gearbox on my Ford Focus went and I was getting quoted thousands from other companies, I contacted Adam from ACS Garage and to my delight He was local to me and easy to get too. He was very honest and fixed my car for a fair price. I would highly recommend him.

I was in the car trade many years ago I had my car repaired from adam I can only say what a superb service good luck to him breath of fresh air in the motor trade he will go the extra mile to repair your car trust me I am very hard to please because of my previous background.

Was recommended to Adam at ACS from another garage that I use as they could not help with my automatic transmission issue that I had. Apart from me spending extra on parts which I supplied when the garage could have got me the relevant parts cheaper as they had some in stock, I have nothing but glowing reports for this garage. Not only was he extremely informative and knowledgeable he is only too happy to help with recommendations prior to making possibly unnecessary purchases. Best service I had ever expierienced. The price was very good and the quality of work couldnt be better. I had full service of my automatic gearbox done here and it runs like a new. On the way when he was doing the job I gave him, whenever he spotted anything else that had to be done he fixed it as well. I will highly recommend this garage as the man who works there knows very well his job.
