With 25 years of experience in Door Manufacturing, Acoustic and Fire Door Solutions Ltd (AFDSL) supplies acoustic fire doors to customers throughout the UK. Founded in 2010, the business is based in Broughty Ferry (Dundee). AFDSL specialises in the development, marketing and distribution of ‘Acoustic' and 'Fire' Door products for the construction industry.

The focus of the business is to identify and develop new unique acoustic and fire door products to meet the demands of both UK and European requirements.

AFDSL have developed a CERTIFIED 30 minute 54mm thick fire-door framed 'blank' with up to a 43db acoustic rating. The product can be supplied either as a 'blank' or 'door core' and is ideal for supply to door manufacturers who can apply any veneers or their own cosmetic design to the door faces. This product is fully UK certified and is distributed by Falcon Panel Products. Finished doors and door-sets are also available.

Acoustic and Fire Door Solutions Ltd has a growing network of clients, based throughout the UK, including manufacturers, contractors, local authorities, hotels, schools, hospitals, house builders and private clients.

The business is owned by Ken Shepherd who has worked within the Door Manufacturing industry for over 25 years. Ken shepherd is experienced to manage the business, having previously worked for UK door manufacturers.
