Academy Sailing is an RYA approved sailing school providing high quality cruising yacht sailing courses from beginner upwards. Qualify as RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper (with ICC) and much more. We operate out of Burnham Yacht Harbour, Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex and have the stunning east coast as our playground. Please visit our site or get in touch and we will be pleased to help.

Academy Sailing offer a range of specialist courses including RYA theory including Day Skipper, Coatsal Skipper, Yachtmaster, marine VHF, Sea Survival, First Aid and many more. Depending on the course, these can be completed online through Academy Sailing, or in person through our affiliate partner at Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex. Academy Sailing offers bespoke skills refresher training for `rusty skippers' or skippers just wanting to brush up their skills, or those of their crew. We find this very popular as a pre-holiday activity for those heading off to Greece, Crotia and elsewhere in the Mediterranean. Courses are offered from our base in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex.
