What a great company, careco wanted £90 just to come out! Abc mobility £25 and the chap (charlie) was a genuine hands on man that wanted to sort the problem there and then for as little as possible profit. A true honest gent. No like other company's that WANT to take the scooter away then give you a big bill. Whilst there also diagnosed another fault on another scooter. Could not ask for anyone more technically minded and willingness. Many thanks charles, danny.
I needed my Powerchair Servicing. I had contacted the company I bought it from a Compoany who only seemed interested in the sale and not the maintenance. I called ABC Mobility and spoke to Charlie. He came to the house and did the service there and then. Charged no more than a local company would and gave me the good news that all is ok and nothing else needed doing. Gave some advice about the tyres. Great job. Thank you Charlie.
I ran into a problem with my scooter at a really difficult time. Called Charlie who asked me a series of questions and asked me to perform one or two tasks on my scooter. My wigwag is slightly out of adjustment and this triggers a safety shutdown. But Charlie talked me through what to do and I remained mobile. And I remain in control but knowing there is expertise always available.
I phoned Charlie to inquire about purchasing a new wheelchair to replace of that had a fault. Instead, less than an hour later he was at my house–luckily I was on his way home–explaining how to solve the problem for free using supplies I had at home! His clear-headed, simple, practical engineering advice and affable friendly manner relieved all the worries I'd had about the potential of having to fork out for an expensive replacement. Charlie and ABC Mobility never seemed like they were there to make a profit, they were there to help. Thank you ABC!
Just spent 18 minutes on the phone to Chalie, who took out the time to talk to me about a mobility scooter in another country that my father in law is having difficulty with. Charlie spent the time going through all the number of problems that could be affecting the wheels not turning, where I assumed it was just an issue with the wheel it self, so now either a paid holiday for Charlie to go out and fix the problem for me, or buy a new scooter for my father in law. Joking aside, the fact that Charlie knew he wouldn't be repairing the actual mobility scooter, his customer service was second to none and for that very reason he has won me over as a customer, whenever I need a new/ used scooter I will be going to him hands down.
What a gem Charlie is…good solid advice, honest assessment of repair and performance. It is so refreshing to experience such a depth of knowledge and a level of integrity these days - a breath of fresh air indeed! Charlie…you saved me a tidy sum through your honest advice regarding a proposed purchase (from an unrelated supplier) and it proved absolutely spot on! You kindly gave me the information I needed to choose the mobility scooter model best suited to my needs. I needed a scooter for hire as my wife was in hospital for use here. Extremely helpful chap charlie was closed at the time of call but made sure I had the scooter serviced and cleaned within an hour and half of asking. The scooter was great and my wife was so grateful as it gave her so much independence while getting about the huge qe hospital. Charlie was knowledgeable friendly and I will be going back if needed to. Great experience.
Asked Charlies advice about changing tyres on my mobility scooter to solid ones. No sooner said than done. Within a few days they were ordered and been to fit them this morning. My 100 year old mother is totally dependent on her mobility scooter, and thanks to Charlie was kept mobile by loaning a scooter while hers was being repaired. This was service at its very best, fast, very friendly and at a cost that didn't reflect the service provided. A pleasure to deal with Charlie, many thanks.
Having purchased an unknown make of scooter from the internet I experienced several problems which Charlie always sorted out for me, in the end I decided that I should purchase a new Pride scooter which I did from Charlie because I know that he gives an excellent after sales service. When I am out and about on my scooter I often stop to speak to other people on scooters and I will always recommend ABC Mobility to them because of the first class service that Charlie offers.
Absolutely superb service, fixed my scooter after I sadly got a cowboy firm in by mistake, Charlie has a work ethic that is second to none, he did jobs on the scooter that was far beyond that of a normal service, and kept the cost low, found a problem that many may have struggled with.
