A1 Home Care provides care workers in your own home to support the customers independence and dignity. All care workers are fully trained and receive ongoing training in A1's own training complex from trainers employed by the company. The care company is registered with CQC. Please check the CQC website for information. The company provides a friendly non pressure service and all controlled by experienced Care Managers. Every care package is tailored to each service user. All the staff at a1 home care are checked against an advanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
Care staff wear full personal protective equipment.
All care workers are fully trained with ongoing training up NVQ 2-3 standard.
The company duties include, helping clients to rise in the morning, and back into to bed, getting dressed / undressed, etc. , cooking meals, cleaning, grooming, and helping to support independence and dignity and also many other general care tasks that are needed. Also A1 care can accompany people out for trips like shopping, hospital, etc.
, all provided by a friendly team of care workers. The company now have around 90 care worker's plus office staff and expanding every day.
The company is managed by Carol Armstrong who has been involved in the home care business for many years. Carol is fully trained to look after the company, having previously worked for Abacus care for 11 years. All care packages are tailored to personal choice to improve independence and dignity.
