I have used A-List Home Improvements several times over the last year because of moving into a very rundown bungalow, They have completely renovated the bungalow putting in new windows, a new bathroom and tiled the kitchen floor as well as fitting new velux window in loft area. All work done to very good standard and prices are very compatable. I found Kevin to be reliable and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I am very happy to recommend A List Home Improvements; they replaced panels on a UPVC door to a high standard, even taking care to repair previous damage caused by someone else as best as they could. Mr Dack explained exactly what work needed to be done, provided a quick and clear quote and kept me up to date on the progress of the work.

A List Home Improvement recently converted 2 adjoining brick sheds into an outdoor office which included knocking through the internal wall, brick laying, installing a window and door, insulating, plaster boarding and plastering as well as running the electric and network cables around for the electrician, laying underfloor heating cables, laying floor tiles, fixing skirting board and painting. The above work was completed to a very high standard and I am extremely pleased with the service provided by A-List Home Improvement. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for home improvement company to do some home improvements.

Kevin and his team replaced our 30 year old carport that had seen better days. Being a very bespoke update with some very tricky sections that attached to the house with very little leeway meant that the work could have been troublesome. Kevin and team were onsite for just over a week and done a great job. They kept us up to date with the work and always informed us of any slight changes they had to make to the plan. We had a slight problem with one of the areas but Kevin returned to correct the issue very promptly. Purchased a front and back door with this company, which took over 9 weeks between order placement and fitting. The company ordered the wrong front door panel, however tried to blame and charge us for their mistake when I had exact records of what I had ordered to back this up. The back door, although slightly different than what we ordered, was fitted fine. However the front door was not fitted correctly at the hinges, therefore not allowing the door to fully close at the bottom. Also the door panel was sealed with sealant, when it should have been sealed with a rubber seal. We contacted company who gave us manufacturers contact details, who we called and they came round to repair these errors at their expense! The manufacturer said that these errors should not have been made and that the company should not have taken and fitted the door until it was ready to fit. The manufacturer fitted a whole new panel. Now the front door is repaired we are happy thanks to the door manufacturer.Moreexpand_more

I had 8 windows and the front door replaced by A-list. At every stage Kevin was friendly and polite, and very quick to respond to questions or concerns. The cost for the work was very reasonable (much lower than the big name firms I contacted), and the final job was professional and well-executed. Very happy with the whole process.

Kevin's work shows all the skills needed for the good fitting of window and doors which we had done. He is a good all round tradesman and was able to complete our extra requests for conservatory issues we we had successfully. We would recommend A-list without hesitation.

After getting three quotes from local companies I chose to go with A-List. They were £50 more than one of the other companies quoting and £300 less than the other. Because of the value of the job £50 was neither here nor there. I chose A-List as I felt Kevin wasn't trying to hard sell, he was professional and personable and offered genuine advice. He's also a very nice, normal person who runs a small business and takes pride in his work. A-List fitted a window, french doors and a composite front door in my annexe with wood coloured frames to match the house and did a fabulous job. No corners were cut, the attention to detail was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

I booked A-List Home Improvements to replace 3 old windows as I wanted to use a local company rather than a large Nationwide company. Throughout the booking, Kevin has been extremely professional and polite, as too his colleague. The work was carried out with care and consideration and I am very pleased with the new windows. Dust sheets were used throughout, leaving hardly any mess to clear. The finish is of a high standard and Kevin followed up the job with a text. I would definitely recommend this company and wish them all the best for the future.

I required replacement windows and a new kitchen door and received visits from a number of companies, including the big names. A List Home Improvements were by far the most helpful, offering informed advice and a reasonable estimate of the costs involved. The work was completed to an excellent standard and on the date agreed. I will certainly use A List Home Improvements again and will recommend this company to others.

We recently moved from up from London and was scary to try and find someone that we could trust for new windows. I read Kevin's reviews and he sounded like nice. From the moment we met him I felt at ease and he listened to what we needed without any pressure. We got some of the usual big name guys to give us an estimate for replacement of a couple of windows and patio doors. Added A-List almost as an afterthought. Good decision! Some of the "big boys" were a bit too pushy for my liking, while Kevin just listened to what we wanted and offered useful advice. Couple that with the price and there was no contest. Great job done. Also needed advice on repairing glazed units at a relatives house. Great advice again, with Kevin spotting some other bits that needed doing. Again, no pressure - just the facts. We got the whole job done for a great price without compromise on quality. I had 2 double glazed windows fitted. Kevin and Louis were very friendly and efficient. They cleared up any mess left. And disposed of my old windows for me. Kevin gave me advice about looking after my new windows and also said they were guaranteed for 10 years - which is great. They were very competitive to other companies. Thank you very much! :-).

Kevin turned up on the day planned, pulling out the stops after a last minute issue, which meant we didn't have to rearrange. Fitting of 3 doors and a window went extremly smoothly. 1 day to do this, then a few hours the next morning to tidy and finish off. There was a slight delay in replacing 1 of the units, which was done a few days later. This delay was communicated very clearly and managed well. I'd happily use A List again and recommend them also.

A list supplied and fitted windows and French doors for us and we were very pleased all round. Kevin is very committed to providing an excellent service. Friendly and helpful advice was given in discussing and working out our requirements. Whilst other companies told us that the width of the proposed French doors was impractical and a side panel would be necessary (putting price up), A list could provide the right sized doors with no side panel. The price for the whole job was extremely competitive. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend A list.

What a company 5 star service from start to finish nothing was to much trouble. From the first visit to the day off install Kevin was so friendly advising us to what we required. After our first visit the biggest surprise was the price so much cheaper than the rest. Then came the day too install our french doors well what can I say but I'm glad I choose this company not only did they save me money but the quality off install was excellent thank you very much. Hope to have a new roof put on my conservatory next year will not bother with the rest I will just get kevinto quote me.
