We moved into our new house in autumn and found out the wood-burning stove was broken. We phoned A Clean Lum and explained that a local stove supplier had sold us a stove and wondered if they could fit it for us. Staffy advised us to get our money back and he came (squeezing us in between his other appointments). He fixed our old stove with a new baffle plate and firebricks and saved us £700. Excellent service, honest and experienced trader. We'll only use A Clean Lum in the future.

A Clean Lum was recommended to me by the firm which had installed my wood-burning stove. Staffy arrived promptly, ensured that carpets and fireside were protected from dust. He made a thorough inspection of the chimney, all the time giving me a full commentary of what he found (a huge build-up of soot and tar) and some reasons for the state of the chimney. I learned a lot from his clear explanations. He did a thoroughly professional job. I would strongly recommend A Clean Lum for the excellent service provided.

Staffy came to sweep my 'lum' this morning and I have to say that he offered the best service. I found it difficult to know just how much soot etc. Had been deposited in my 'lum' but - it isn't there any more. Staffy was efficient, very clean and after he had gone there was no mess at all.
