About A. A. Eddy & Son (Southern) French Polishers
I have been a French Polisher for some 38 years, and I am from a fourth generation family business. Originally from Plymouth, in October 2015 I took the plunge to re-locate to the Brighton area where I now live, with my workshop at North Chailey, and am very happy to have done so.
Although my primary formal training and apprenticeship was in French Polishing, I have also trained, and am proficient in spray lacquering, working in both traditional, and modern finishes. Anything from a small 'touch up' on a piece of furniture, to a complete change of colour to kitchen doors, antique restoration, leather desk tops and all classes of wood repairs.
I have in the past, as well as working in the domestic field, have undertaken contracts for various companies, including, The Grand (Brighton), Jury's Inn, Holiday Inn, The Admiralty (Plymouth), HMS Drake, Stonehouse Barracks, Gleneagles Hotel, Chem-dry, The Connaught Hotel (London), McAleer and Rushe, Castlebrooks, Mowlem, Midas, Inter-Serve, Pendennis Shipyard, to name but a few.
I am able to undertake both domestic and commercial work, being fully insured up to 2 million pounds, and a CSCS card holder.
Please feel free to contact me with any queries and with free estimates in the local area.
