Bought a Aeroklas canopy for my new Ranger Raptor. After it was installed, the electric opening button did not work, we were told this was an issue multiple people were having, we were sent a new button - this didnt resolve the issue. We were told we had no option but to bring it to Coleshill (6 hour round trip). The lock then failed so we had no method of opening it. Took it to Coleshill on the assurance they would have everything needed to fix both issues (lock and button). The lock they fixed but the button needed a relay they didnt have in stock. Then 4x4 shipped a new relay 3 weeks later, totally different design to the old one which involves drilling a large hole in the canopy to hide the new relay which is twice the size. Tested the new relay before drilling and it doesnt resolve the problem. Have said we want to have it picked up and returned for a refund, was told we would get feedback but have now been ghosted. Have been left with no choice but to raise it as an issue with Trading Standards and are now looking at a small claims court submission. Do not buy anything from this company! They take you money and send out faulty goods. They will not replace or refund. I will never use this company ever again. Only shop if you crave disappointment.
I have purchased quite a few aftermarket accessories for my ford ranger from 4x4at, mostly excellent. But my Rear Dynamic Tail lights, Left hand side bottom flowing led failed after only 3 months or less. Been in contact with Robert as my business partners l200 tail lights had similar issues. Robert investigated my business partners but did not bother to respond to mine after evidence was sent over. I have since emailed 7 days ago and still have no response. All I would like is for this issue to be rectified because in general 4x4at are brilliant. They must of just had a bad batch of supplies, its just the poor management of dealing with issues which has upset me after spending thousands with the company and willing to spend more money in the future!
