The facts are on entry to the rental we were all choked by dangerous build up of bleach fumes, filthy unclean areas such as bathroom and kitchen, very strong stench from lounge area namely the two sofas that smelt very strongly of dogs although we booked a pet free rental home, we opened all windows and entry door but I am 8 months pregnant and we have two very young children, this was unbearable so within the two hour stated notice on email we called 2cholidays and was told the cleaners would come to see if there is a problem. The two female cleaners from JJ or JC I cant recall came and on entering said yes its very bad smell of bleach but we don’t use bleach must been poured all over the bathroom and kitchen by last customer who stayed two weeks, they also came to the lounge where we had retreated to get away from the bathroom and kitchen deadly bleach fumes and was met with the smelly dogs stench, they smelt the sofas and agreed it was bad! They called who I believe to be EMMA the director at 2cholidays who said we cant have a swap on unit unless want to go 20 miles away to a small old caravan or they would come back the next day and do a full deep clean including the sofas to try to lower the stench, they said leave the key in the key safe and we agreed. The next day we all left for a long day to Norwich so they had all day to clean as we agreed, my father in law is disabled with MS so the stress of all this affected him allot also, we returned shocked to see the cleaners had not been! I emailed Emma who then claimed wrongly we did not agree to them deep cleaning and also to say they have miss sold the unit as a twin bedroom when it fact its clearly a single, a single bed with a metal fold up bed that we opened and does not physically fit in the same room, so miss sold also! Emma then called me and spoke to my husband to explain there must have been a mix up as cleaners now say we didn’t agree, they did agree on the call to Emma in front of all of us. I complained in writing via email to complaints at 2cholidays and also to Emma, and also have forwarded a copy to Norfolk trading standards. The emails back and forth became worse as Emma basically called us liars and denied the cleaners said there was a smell even though they agreed to deep clean upholstery, for no smell, really?We were told by Emma that she cant help us any further with our complaint and has called us liars, she also has claimed on social media that we peed on the duvets when we left, this is serious libel and we are seeking legal advice on pursuing that also. The reviews online are accurate honest and factual so we will not be removing them. I feel the only action now is court proceedings. I have all emails back and forth, screen shots of conversation with Emma on our reviews and also the serious libel, also pictures of the conditions of the unit. .Moreexpand_more
2cholidays are exceptional! Their website is so easy to view and laid out brilliantly showing which dates are available. They keep you up dated with emails and I received a curtesy call just before our holiday started. I've booked our family holiday for next year already with 2cholidays and hope to book a girly weekend too. I highly recommend.
I booked a caravan for a short 3 night stay fairly last minute - once booked I needed to change the caravan itself and after a phone call this was very efficiently done with no hassle. Having used 2cholidays last year and staying at the same place we found it very easily -the caravan was lovely -very clean and tidy and nicer than I was expecting - I would definitely use again -it made a very good base for myself and my 2 sons to explore.
I have booked many holidays, caravan and chalet, over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Whether you are looking for somewhere relaxing or a place for the kids to let off steam you will find it here. Customer service is always available and very helpful. I only book via 2cHolidays now.
Upon desperately needing a break I made contact with 2c Holidays who went out of their way to find me something at short notice. The booking process was very easy and the staff I spoke to were lovely. If I had any complaints it would be that I arrived in the dark and took forever finding the caravan as there were no lights or a visible number. BUT when I did locate it I was very happy as it was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I stayed at California Cliffs last year in Scratby in F42 and it was absolutely wonderful. The site had lots to keep families entertained and was also very close to other holiday "hotspots" which meant you could never get bored. I would not hesitate to use 2c holidays again and will definitely recommend them.
I stayed at the California cliffs park in August. The communication with the holiday company was ver informative and great customer service. The caravan was spacious, very clean and well equipped. The caravan was situated very near all the amenities so was a quick walk from the swimming pool and entertainment. I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the caravan and will definetly be booking another break away. Thanks very much.
After a few problems which were nothing to do with 2c holidays. We were hugely grateful for the help and patience of Emma and Melody at 2c. They went above and beyond for us and gave us fantastic customer service. The accommodation was immaculate, not a speck of dust to be seen anywhere. The park and surrounding areas were great and perfect for what we wanted. All ready looking to book up for next year. Highly recommend both 2c and Hopton.
Have used 2cholidays for 3 years and every year we have been so impressed with the caravan, location, friendly service and outstanding value for money. As a single parent I am able to take my 3 boys away on a fantastic holiday and don't have to compromise on anything. Would use 2cholidays ever time.
