2020 Archery provides archery courses, events and have a go sessions to people of all ages and abilities. The club is located at the Downside Centre - a great indoor venue in Southwark (London) very close to London Bridge / Tower Gateway. 2020 has been delivering excellent courses and events for all sorts of groups including corporate away-days (clients include Sony, Ikea and Citibank) and stag / hen parties since 2008. Sessions will be delivered by one of 10 friendly qualified instructors.
2020 has a great deal of experience at running successful events. The silver package event is the most popular for groups. The event costs 37 pounds per person and includes all tuition, insurance, equipment hire and 1. 5 hrs of shooting time. The event finishes with a dozen arrow shoot-off with fabulous archery medals and a team trophy to be won.
Beginners courses and Have a Go sessions for individuals or small groups are also available. Have a Go sessions take place on Saturday / Sunday afternoons and occasionally on weeknight evenings (usually Monday and Wednesday) and cost 29. 50 pounds. We have a range of 5 week beginner courses. All sessions are suitable for complete beginners - no prior experience needed.
The business is run by Calvin Lee who is an experienced archer, Olympian and Paralympic Coach. He has specialised in leading sessions for people with disabilities and has the right experience to lead his team of coaches. All instructors have enhanced CRB, leaders or Level 1 coaching qualifications and experience shooting in a club.

Great bunch of people. Richard was very clear in instructions and a fantastic teacher. He got us all to a great level of capability in 5 short weeks. The club is friendly and I was made to feel comfortable and welcome from the first enquiry and my first minute of lessons.

I tried out the have-a-go session and loved it so much that I immediately signed up for the 5 week beginners course. I had the pleasure of having the very knowledgeable and friendly Corrinne as my instructor for both, and now I'm signing up for club membership :).

Michael and T are friendly teachers who gave us the time to practise and ask questions. Their step-by-step 1-to-1 coaching gave us a firm grasp of the basics of barebow archery and how to adjust aiming based on the results.
