Mechanism on my door failed so I could not open it so I phoned this company to fix it. I was quoted between £120 - £200 on the phone so I expected the worse. Ben came round and sorted the problem plus he also adjusted my patio door so it would shut properly. Great guy and very professional he explained everything he was doing. Would recommend this company to anyone. Total cost. £130.

I recently called on 1st defence lock smiths services. They were quick to come to the rescue, very friendly and pleasant and efficient at sorting the problem. The price was exactly as quoted on the phone and seemed perfectly reasonable based on other quotes I received. I'd recommend these guys.

We have used Ben for all the lock work that we have had need of for our student houses in Leeds. He is always very reliable and visits promptly to resolve the problems. On Jan 11 we had a faulty lock Ben called round immediately. He was in constant communication with me giving me advice and suggested remedies. My locking mechanism on my back door had collapsed therefore prevented me from opening it. I phoned first defence and Ben came out the following day. Got the door open and replaced the gear. He was quick and thoroughly professional. Great job. I cannot recommend first defense highly enough.

Porch lock needed replacing. Found out door was in very bad condition. Technician completed the job and went above and beyond to try and rectify the situation as best as possible. Couldn't ask for more.
