AoFA - Association of First Aiders1st Aid 999's aim is to supply the highest level of First Aid at any type of private or public events. Mostly specialising in providing single first aiders and medics with a fully equipped Response Vehicle to companies that otherwise would have to take on full ambulance crews in order to fulfil their obligations of care.
1st Aid 999 can help meet the needs of many public and corporate events. These include such as:
- Equestrian events – Show jumping and cross country events
- Sporting events – American Football, Biking, Football, Rugby, Charitable runs / rides / walks
- Shows and Concerts
- Motorsport
- Corporate activities – Off-roading, games, Team Building, ‘it’s a Knockout’ etc
- Any events where there is a ‘presumed’ risk, either to those participating or to the public, where medical cover is required.

Guarantee to cover your events once it is booked.
Staff are experienced in covering all types of events.
Staff are uniformed and Enhanced CRB checked plus carry ID cards.
No charge for any equipment used.
Staff have ongoing training with industry respected advanced skills with the NHS, Army Medic’s and other private ambulance companies.
Full public liability and medical indemnity insurance is held.
The price quoted is final.
A Private company so do not have commitments to the statutory services in times of major incident, so never left without cover.
All vehicles are fully equipped above the national standards and insured for the purpose with use of blue lights and sirens (If fitted) where required.
Medic’s turn up before the start of your event to set up and familiarise themselves with the area to be covered and the local Hospital.
1st Aid 999 has an expanding customer base, located in the local area, including Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire Councils.
The business is managed by Arthur Edwards who has been involved in the Event Medical Cover business for many years. Arthur Edwards is well trained and experienced to oversee the company, having previously worked for and trained with Private Ambulance companies, the NHS and the RAMC.

We have used 1st Aid 999 for quite a few events this season when we've required additional staff or due to the location of the events. We have found them to be a very professional company with well turned out staff who are polite, knowledgeable and willing to work with other organisations to produce the best result for all casualties during the event. If the event ran over, they would willingly stay until released by the organiser ensuring that required cover was always kept.

We would just like to say a big thank you to Arthur and his other two medical staff for the excellent and professional approach to carrying out our medical cover for our sports event the other week. They kept an eye on proceedings and were quickly 'on scene' when even the smallest of occurances happened. Even our clients were impressed and we will be using 1st Aid 999 again very soon, with a bit more notice given to them as this was organised in a bit of a rush but worked out very well indeed.

1st Aid 999 covered our drivers day and found them to be professional, helpful, courteous and they gave a high level of care to the 2 'incidents' that arose. Arthur even took part and put the response car around the track on an occasion. A great company that we would recommend any time.

1st Aid 999 provided an exceptional level of first aid cover at a team-building event we had organised. They were very efficient, organised and approachable through-out the whole event. Luckily there was only one small incident, which needed little more than a plaster, but it was peace of mind having professionals there if any more serious had happened. I would definately recommend them they were consistently reliable, fully qualified and we found them to be value for money - if you are looking for first aid cover for any event then you cant go wrong with these guys.

We hired 1st Aid 999 for a team building competion we were having with clients. The service was excellent, well presented staff and it's owner very know knowledgeable, especially when we had a spectator collapse and could not breath and had to be rushed to the infirmary! Would definatly use again and will be recommending them to others for use at events - this is much more than normal first aid! Extreme medics at their best.
