Impossible to fault. Received a very competitive quote within 10 minutes. The two removal guys arrived on time, having already phoned to conform arrival. They were very pleasant, careful yet quick. The entire removal process was completed without any fuss.

By far the unsurpassed moving experience we have had. The booking was easy enough and the packing service exceptional along with the removal service. Basically the whole move was extremely professional from the quotation through to the installation of the furniture and belongings in the new property. Upon arriving the next day the apartment was packed and I noted to my partner that it felt like a work of art, the boxes were so beautifully arranged and structured. The move was a challenging one with a lot of equipment and cases being moved into a four storey home, the chaps were so mannerly, well thought-out, approachable and particularly careful with all our assets during the move. We cannot thank them enough, they delivered a vast extent of reassurance throughout the demanding experience of a move.

"I would highly recommend using 1 Van 1 Man Removals for moving house. We moved on a bank holiday Monday and the service was excellent! Dale and the team called before they arrived on time, each member of the team introduced themselves and began to start moving everything from the flat. We were on the fourth floor of a set of flats which has no lift and without any complaints and constant smiles on their faces they moved all of our furniture with no complaints. They also took apart our bed and reassembled this at the new house with no fuss. They were very careful with our possessions and ensured that nothing was broken, everything was packed in order and wrapped in transit blankets. When we got to the new house the same level of care was taken unpacking the vehicle and placing all of the furniture in the correct rooms. I could go on and on with how wonderful their service really was but I will wrap it up by saying that it was great customer service, a fantastic professional and friendly team, and a very very very stress free move! Nothing was too much trouble. They texted to inform me of arrival time, packed efficiently and managed to fit everything into one hour, not trying to spin it out to go into two. Polite, careful and pleasant guys - I will certainly use them again after the previous two jobs they have done for me.

I've used this company for my house removal. They charged with a reasonable price, but with professional service beyond my expectation, and I'm more than satisfied with their work. I thought it was going to take a long time and a lot of effort for a removal, but with their help, I basically just stood there looking after my stuff, and they did all the hardwork for me in a far more efficient way. I will definitely use the company for my next removal if needed.

A huge thank you to Dale and Stuart for moving my furniture on Monday. This was the second time I've employed the firm and once again I was delighted with the service that I received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Professional, courteous, efficient, thorough and punctual… are words that spring to mind. A certain amount of my larger furniture would not go up the stairs at my new home but this presented no difficulty to the guys who most expertly dismantled it and then rebuilt it once they'd carried it in. This has saved me a huge amount of time and inconvenience. I shall be employing the company for a third time in September and there can be no better recommendation than that. I used 1Van1Man to deliver two very valuable items from the York Minster Stone Auction, a large heavy limestone 'pinnacle' and a 14th Century gilded 'boss'. Despite the awkward size and weight of the pinnacle it was delivered safely and placed where I wanted it without the slightest hesitation or fuss. 4 stars because the delivery took place at 1am! But if they hadn't been present and willing at the auction, I couldn't have bid for the items I wanted. The fact was they delivered ON THE DAY (almost) and cheerfully manhandled a substantial object. Polite and hard-working. I can recommend them.

Still good value for money but about what I expected to pay. I had two sofa's and rug taken from Acomb to Clifton and paid £40. The guy helped take the sofa down the stairs which I hadn't expected him to do and he was very friendly. I would use them again.
