A really fun and user friendly site and great communication from the admin team.

Full of fake profiles. I signed up and paid 48 pound for a membership. I felt compelled to cancel after 3 days. Do not waste your money !

After trying other sites and being contacted by people I had absolutely nothing in common with, within a week of joining muddy I met a guy and we are now seeing each other! Early days but thanks muddy, without you we wouldn't have met!

After trying 2 of the other site that advertise on TV I took advice of a fellow countryman and tried Muddy. The Service is better suited to my lifestyle and I met with a number of like minded people…as a result I’m now in a relationship that is heading the right way and without Muddy we’d have never met even though we have much in common. After a few teething problems on my part getting round the site I found someone whom I seem really compatible with and although we have only been seeing each other for a couple of months this site seems to have worked its magic. I had tried a few of the other dating sites and my recommendation would be just to try the one that seems to attract like-minded people which this site seems to for my outdoorsy self. At the end of the day is luck of the draw and this has by no means been an easy journey, in fact it has taken a few attempts and many first dates but perserverance seems to pay off. Having been on a couple of other dating websites, I really liked Muddy Matches. The site is straight forward to navigate and has all the features you would expect. I just signed up for a month and was fortunate to meet someone I really liked the look and sound of from his profile. Quite a lot without pictures, a no no in my book. Disagree with negative comments regarding automatic renewal, this is quite common, you just need to keep track of these things. I prefer quality over quantity any day. Looking forward to seeing my ‘muddy match’ now the harvest is done! I would recommend this site to people who live/work in towns and cities, but love getting out to the countryside when they can.

Cannot understand why so many positive reviews unless they are 'relatives or friends'! When comparing the amount of people on the site this is very poor value for money, you may get a couple of matches in your area but most are miles away and everytime you 'search' you get different results! Beware the automatic renewal, they make it 'difficult' to turn off and send no reminder before they take your money, ironic as when I first went on the site in 2010 they stated 'we don't automatically take money for renewals because we just think that's just rude! '… funny how things change when they become more money grabbing. Other sites are much better value for money.

I was looking for a partner in Cumbria and tried various websites without feeling that there was much quality involved. Muddy Matches was different: ot looked good and selected intetesting people as potential matches. The second person I met is now my partner, and we both feel extremely lucky to have found each other.

After being cajoled by friends to 'give it a go' I found Muddy Matches very easy to use, even for a non techno like myself. Having access to photos and individuals appraisals was invaluable and gave insight into lifestyles, personalities, likes and dislikes before making decisions to make contact or pass by. So many questions answered without the dread of rejection. I was very lucky to find a perfect chap living nearby rather quickly and having first made contact without a personal voice to judge so many of our queries were covered before we met. We both knew straight away that we were right for each other and have been inseparable since.

Within a few days of joining I met the woman who became the love of my life. 6 years on and we're settled in a cosy cottage with our beautiful one year old son. Very happy, all thanks to meeting on muddy matches.

The people seem to be more genuine on here than on other dating sites I used, the customer service was always prompt and very helpful if needed. We met on Muddy matches 5 years ago, and got married in June 2016. There were so many like minded people on Muddy Matches and when you ahve a real country lifestyel you do need someone who knows and loves it.

Nice low key site. Good interface. Easy to navigate. Limited geographical choice but that is appropriate for most ( I don't often get to Ireland much). Met wonderful lady…girl after only a few weeks. Hoping for great things.

Sadly I don't feel the quite high monthly cost is value for money when there are so few people using the site.

I found the love of my life on this site! We are now engaged and moving to Canada to start our life together farming :) id recommend this to anyone in the farming industry as it can be a real struggle sometimes to meet new people!
