Hi, there!
We are currently in the process of buying a home in Bedminster, Bristol. The survey indicated some suspected serious and urgent issues with the walls, including: suspected wall tie failure (which is complicated by the fact that the walls are extremely thin - 75mm blockwork and 75mm cavity), concerns that the downstairs chimney may have been removed without ensuring appropriate structural support was in place re: cavity walls, cracks in the gable end wall and poor ties to main house. Attaching relevant excerpts from the survey along with some photos from the surveyor for reference.
