I am investigating the possibility of having an old history book that I own to be repaired. The book is a 17th century History of London by Maitland. The book has passed down my family and was passed to me by my father. I now want to pass it on to my son, but it needs some degree of repair first.

There are some pages that have become loose and the covers have become detached and need to be secured.

Is this a task you could, in principle, undertake? I would like a preliminary estimate for the cost if doing so, please.
