Hi.
My baby is almost 2 weeks old and midwife said she has to tongue tie.
She latches only with nipple shield but feeding is painful and she doesn’t seem to get enough milk from breasts, always hungry, falls asleep on breast immediately, and feeding can take an hour and she still isn’t fed.
We also got appointment for procedure with NHS on 19th of Feb but it’s quite far out and I don’t know how long my breasts can take it.
All cracked and very painful, I’m now doing pumping and we give formula as well. Trying to get her on breast still at least for a little while.
