Neil is an amazing instructor who helped me to build my confidence driving and pass first time with only one minor. I would recommend to anyone who is anxious about learning to drive as he is very patient and explains things properly. The lessons are fairly priced and he was always on time for my lessons. I used nelly school of motoring to pass my driving test I found the instructor to be very relaxed and clear in his instructions I passed first time with only 2 minors I would recommend this driving school to anyone they are a very professional outfit and have a great approach to teaching and offer some good advice regards to theory and hazard perception tests.

My time learning with Neil has been nothing short of fantastic. From day one, he has been extremely patient. Week by week I could see big improvements which was down to his knowledge and teaching ability, focusing on areas which needed improvement and supporting me to get over any hurdles I was facing. Neil is one of the best instructors of 3 that I’ve had, he is very understanding from just starting until the end. My confidence was at an all time low before starting with him and it had grown a lot within a few weeks. He’s very patient with you, makes you feel as comfortable as possible and I always look forward to my lessons with him. He has good banter and teaches you to be independent and as a driver not as someone who has just passed. I couldn’t thank him enough.

Neil is a natural teacher. I consider myself very fortunate to have been one of his pupils and I am so glad I chose him to train me over several other driving instructors I had previously. Every lesson he observes your driving closely, analyzes it in every detail, makes notes of your errors and teaches you how to work on your mistakes. Not only does he teach how to drive but he teaches you how to think on the road, how to make right decisions in difficult road circumstances. He relaxes you and puts you at ease with any situation you come across on the road. He listens carefully to all your questions and gives very explanatory answers. Since English is my second language I would especially recommend him to all foreign pupils as his English is clear and perfect. Overall, there is no end to his ability to improve your driving. His professionalism is exceptional. In my opinion he is simply the best person to teach you. Heartfelt thank you, Neil, for all your hard work, not being indifferent and getting me through my driving test with only three minor faults. Managed to pass my test today with the help of Neil - the guy is an absolute legend. He helped me stay calm, learn from mistakes and gradually improve at a comfortable pace. He has a clear map of which routes we needed to go over and visually showed me aerial views of roundabouts using his ipad. He is a solid teacher, he listens to what you say and won't mess you around. Thanks Neil for helping me start my journey on the road.

We had Neil to teach our Son and I can’t say enough of how professional and thorough he is. Always on time and never once cancelled a lesson. Neil gave our son information sheets, diagrams etc to help him through his lessons which was very helpful. My son really clicked with him and enjoyed every lesson. He passed first time and has become a very competent and sensible driver. Thanks Neil and we will be in touch next year for our other son.

Would like to say a big thank you to Neil of Nelly School of Motoring. I passed my driving test first time at the age of 52 ! . It just shows that you are never too old to learn and this guy is the one to teach you. He’s very patient and knowledgeable and makes learning easy. I don’t think I would of passed with any other instructor. Would definitely recommend to all ages thanks once again Neil.

Neil is a friendly and patient guy who I highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for someone to teach them how to drive safely and confidently! He uses images and diagrams to help you understand new roundabouts and roads which makes you feel more confident when driving on it for the first time. He is super patient especially if you make a mistake more than once which then he talks to you about how to correct it. I’m extremely happy to say that I passed my driving test first time with the help of Neil’s detailed explanations and teachings. I’m so greatful for what he’s done and I can’t thank him enough! I highly recommend him.

I could not recommend Neil enough! After learning with two previous instructors he helped me to overcome all my driving worries and get me to my test. He uses an iPad to show Ariel views which, for me enabled for me to visually see what I would be doing before doing it. He is so patient even when you continue to make the same mistake over and over! And makes you comfortable and feel safe. I passed my test with 2 minors and with that I couldn’t be more happier. Absolutely fantastic - I would recommend him to everyone!
