Paul was a great instructor who made sure I was confident and comfortable on all drives telling me what I needed to focus on and what I did well on in all lessons. I would recommend him to whoever needs a driving instructor.

Paul was really good at helping me with my fear of driving when I first started which eased me in right away. It took some time to work through my anxieties but I was always met with compassion at each moment which I was really grateful for. Paul was kind and direct with his teachings which hammered in the learnings you need to be a good driver. I passed on my second attempt and was really happy with it. Thank you Paul! I can now drive to my allotment whenever I wish, the freedom has been great!

Very nervous to start my lessons after putting it off for a while with no driving experience but Paul was amazing at bringing my confidence up for me to pass first try.

I passed my test first time with Paul as my instructor, he is an excellent teacher. He does a great job at creating a welcoming and safe learning space. I always felt as though I could ask any questions about driving during my lessons. I feel my time learning with Freeway School of Motoring has really developed me into a confident and safe driver, not just someone able to pass the driving test. Paul is a very professional instructor with fairly priced lessons and I would absolutely recommend him.

I passed with Paul at the beginning of April, and he is a fantastic driving instructor who I could not recommend more. He’s kind, chatty, funny, honest and a pleasure to be taught by. He has an incredible amount of experience and knowledge which he passes down to students, including tips and other advice you might need further than passing your test. Being a student and paying from my own pocket, the value of Paul’s driving lessons are fantastic - especially in comparison to many others in Barnsley. I have always felt comfortable being taught by him and thoroughly enjoyed my time learning to drive - and I’m sad it’s come to an end. Thank you so much Paul!

I loved learning to drive with Paul, right from the start he was so patient, funny, kind, and just overall a great person to be around. He’s awesome at what he does, and has an unlimited supportive nature, which was SO helpful as a very nervous driver. He does a brilliant job of teaching, explaining everything really well, providing support and guidance when needed. He makes the car a safe space, removes any awkwardness, and I really enjoyed my lessons with him. He’s the most supportive and best instructor out there, if he has no recommenders, I’m dead! :).

Having already had some driving lessons with amother instructor, I had to change to a new instructor due to circumstances. This is when I started lessons with freeway school of motoring. On my first lesson, Paul was very welcoming and professional. I was giving a booklet, a guide to his school of motoring. Paul also provided me with online resources to help with my theory which was amazing! Each lesson was different and we focussed on different aspects of driving each week to develop my ability and confidence. Paul also asked if I was ever unsure I’m anything so I could practice that further. Paul was always a very encouraging but constructive tutor to which I was able to pass my practical test a few weeks ago. Since passing, I believe I have been able to develop my confidence as a new driver which I believe is all down to what I learnt whilst with freeway school of motoring. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! I was really nervous about learning to drive and Paul was very aware of this, he was so patient and really made me believe in myself! He was so kind and calm that it really put me at ease when driving, he always provided clear instructions and feedback of areas that were good and areas that needed some improvement; Paul also always made time for me, even though I had a very busy timetable and spent time abroad, he would always fit me in! I would highly recommend Paul and Freeway School of Motoring :).

I had a very enjoyable time learning to drive with Paul. I was nervous at first but Paul's reassurance and expertise made me feel at ease and look forward to my driving lessons!
