Founded in 2000, Fahrenheit Function Band has many years of individual and collective experience between the band members, and expertiese in the Music Industry. They provide entertainment of varying styles of dance music, inluding Scottish Country Dance, Chart music from 60's to present day and Disco. They cater for all types of functions including, Weddings, Balls, Anniversary Partys and much more within the region. Fahrenheit Function Band is based in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders.
With a close-knit unit of 4 musicians friendly skilled and excited and kean about what they do, Fahrenheit Function Band is a professional team, well practiced within the music industry.
The function band is managed by Alistair and Patricia Paterson who have been focusing on the Bands business to take it to the highest level of professionalism by building up an excellent reputation and continual marketing within the Scottish Borders. Having previously worked in the entertainment business for many years, they are experienced enough to look after, and give an evenings top entertainment for their customers and guests, ensuring that they all have a fabulous time.

Was a joint 40th for my wife and I and we had a mixed group of ages and everyone was up dancing and the music was varied. They were also able to make up a mixed cd so we could do a special first dance and they were very helpful when we requested particular songs to be played on the night, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a disco.
Fahrenheit Function Band were booked and played for Fiona and Dale on 18th Aug 2012 at marshall Medows hotel in Berwick. Played a good selection and got the guests up on floor all night. Band was at hotel in plenty time just as they said they would be and all was how it should be. Would definately recommend Fahrenheit for weddings. Hired Fahrenheit Function Band to perform at our wedding reception two weeks ago and they were fantastic! They started on time and kept the dancefloor busy all night with a great mixture of old classics and modern chart songs. They even performed and sang our first dance which was perfect. All our guests raved about how good they were, cannot fault them one bit. They were professional throughout and really made the night, thankyou Fahrenheit!!
Fahrenheit were highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. We were delighted with them and received many great comments from our guests. They learned our first song and played it brilliantly, were great value for money, and made our night really special. This is the second time we have booked Fahrenheit to provide the music for family birthday celebrations, excellent both times, dance floor filled and the music enjoyed thoroughly by everyone.
