I attended both Berkhamsted and Hemel clinics for acupuncture with David for fertility issues and arthritis pain. Absolutely wonderful experience, very calming and effective for pain relief and helping me to relax throughout my IVF treatment.

I have been meaning to leave this review for some time now. I started acupunture with David following several early stage natural miscarriages and one failed IVF embryo transfer. I had no expectations but wanted to ensure that ahead of another transfer that I have explored every avenue to support a successful pregnancy. David's work was very thorough, the fertility acupuncture and Davids support, I believe supported not only a successful embryo implantation but also my wellbeing throughout some of the most difficult times I've ever experienced. I am delighted to share that I now have a healthy 4 month old beautiful boy, David and I often spoke about the lack of scientific evidence to support fertility acupunture in aiding successful pregnancies, however in my situation and I am sure many more, I believe this positively contributed to me become a mum after many years of trying and multiple miscarriages. Thank you David! I would highly recommended to anyone seeing additional support throughout their fertility and wellbeing journey.

David supported me throughout my fertility journey, and I truly cannot recommend him highly enough. I initially saw him weekly for a few months before spacing appointments out, and throughout the entire process he was professional, knowledgeable, caring, and incredibly accommodating with appointment times. I visited both his Berkhamsted and Hemel clinics, and both facilities were excellent. From the very beginning, David provided such thorough and holistic care, always checking in on different areas of my wellbeing, not just fertility. The acupuncture itself worked wonders, not only am I now lucky enough to have a beautiful three-month-old baby, but it also greatly improved my sleep, stress levels, and overall wellbeing during what could often be an emotional and overwhelming journey. David was always there to listen, support, and help guide me through every stage with compassion and understanding. His experience and genuine care really shine through in the work he does, and I know his support helped me in more ways than he probably realises. I had treatment from David at the start of 2025 to focus on fertility after experiencing difficulties conceiving. David is kind, understanding, and clearly very experienced in this field having treated many women with similar issues - he is an extremely accomplished acupuncturist. I had treatment from David whilst also changing other things at home to give myself the best possible chance of conception. NHS waiting lists from the fertility clinic were extremely long so I took matters into my own hands. Within 3 months of treatment I fell pregnant, and then I continued treatment with David throughout the first and second trimester to support the pregnancy and help with any symptoms such as nausea. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend David to anyone who is experiencing fertility issues or other conditions (anxiety, health, etc). A big thank you from me for this support.

I have been seeing David on and off for a couple of years now and could not fault his services or sing his praise more! He has helped me navigate issues such as plantar fasciitis, ovarian cysts, PCOS related infertility, low mood, pelvic girdle pain and more recently helped prepare my body for the labour of our first child. I first reached out to David on recommendation from friend whilst trying to conceive. The sessions supported me both emotionally and physically whilst I went through some fertility treatment which was successful and I continued to see him throughout my pregnancy. Each session David’s approach towards treatment was very holistic to improve any physical aliments, support the pregnancy as well as improving my general wellbeing and maintain stress levels. I found David’s details in May 2023 when I was in a really low point in my life after just suffering miscarriage. David had an extremely empathetic approach and got to work immediately with his acupuncture and in the August I was found out I was pregnant again. David supported me throughout my pregnancy, even when I started to get hypertension and gall bladder problems in my third trimester, David continued to see me and always researched new acupuncture points to try to help with any ailments I had. My baby ended up arriving early in Feb 2024, but I’ll be forever grateful to David for helping me on my fertility journey and the care he took with my treatment.

David is absolutely amazing. I came to him feeling lost, sad, overwhelmed and anxious after having 2 early miscarriages and desperate to start a family. I write this as I cuddle my 1 week old baby. I’ve been having acupuncture with David for my anxiety and back pain this year and the treatments have helped me massively. I've been seeing David for acupuncture for a couple of years now to help with a variety of health concerns and overall wellbeing. Initially I went to him with very low mood due to hormonal imbalance and felt I wasn't getting anywhere with modern medicine/the NHS. After a few appointments I started to feel more emotionally in control and within three months my hormones were back to normal. Five months later I conceived naturally and continued seeing David throughout pregnancy - I strongly believe acupuncture was the reason I didn't have any morning sickness or lethargy! I knew I would visit David as soon as possible postpartum to help my body repair from birth and assist with the hormonal crash. Once again the results spoke for themselves with the night sweats disappearing almost immediately and daily anxiety subsiding a few days later. Highly recommend. After a difficult pregnancy loss in 2023 I started seeing David earlier this year because of his amazing reviews on fertility. Before my first appointment I found out I was pregnant (4 weeks), but I was very low and anxious despite falling pregnant again and really didn't feel like myself, it felt like everyday was becoming a struggle. David was thorough in understanding how I felt, background and the support I needed. After a few sessions I immediately felt the weight of some emotions I'd be feeling - lift. He is very warm, welcoming, understanding and takes pride in his work. David supported me weekly through a difficult 12 weeks (weekly) getting to the 3 month mark with pregnancy and beyond where I am now 35 weeks and preparing for my new arrival. I came to see David to help me prepare for a round of IVF. I had been struggling with infertility due to an over active immune system, and I was on a combination of medications to supress my immune system. I wanted to ensure that my body was as balanced as possible prior to embarking on an ivf transfer, so came to see David on a weekly basis for Acupunture in Berkhamsted.
