I can’t recommend Big Wheelers highly enough. I passed my HGV Class 1 licence this week after completing their intense one-week course, and the standard of training was outstanding from start to finish. My instructor, Jeff Jamse, was very strict - but honestly, that’s exactly what I needed. After 20 years of bad driving habits, Jeff didn’t let anything slide. Every mistake was corrected, every weakness was worked on, and nothing was rushed. It was tough at times, but it completely rebuilt my driving to the standard required to pass - and to be a safe, professional Class 1 driver. The course was intense, focused, and extremely well structured. I went into the test feeling prepared, confident, and knowing exactly what the examiner would be looking for. Passed first time today, which says everything about the quality of training at Big Wheelers. If you’re serious about passing your Class 1 and want proper instruction - not shortcuts or box-ticking - Big Wheelers is the place to go. Hard work, high standards, and real results. Had 2 of my CPC renewals with the other 3 booked soon. As usual Big Wheelers have come up trumps with a good location to get to, easy free parking and comfortable classroom. Terry, my instructor both times so far, has be really professional and has great knowledge from many years of experience. He is happy for people to ask the simplest or most complicated questions and he answers them fully and ensures you are happy throughout. A pleasure being on the CPC, which can contain dry subjects at best, but the days have flown by. Excellent instruction and free coffee, tea and biscuits as a bonus. Cheers Terry and BW.

Doing my 3rd CPC course with Big Wheelers, and must say my Instructor John was a real joy to listen to and to be taught by. Very professional and explained everything in great detail, I would recommend Big Wheelers to everyone and most certainly will, thanks John 2 more modules to go, and it’s been a real pleasure.

I passed my HGV class 1 this week. What an amazing team from the ladies in the office, Leah and Lindsay to all the instructors I met. Terry was my instructor throughout, what an incredible amazing instructor he has patiences of a saint and I can’t thank you enough Terry. I also got to meet other instructors while on lessons and breaks who were so welcoming. I also got to have a chat with the owner of Big wheelers Derek who was such a down to earth gentleman. I will say Derek you really have got the A-Team. I would recommend anyone thinking about doing any kinda driver experience to contact Big wheelers 5 ? Plus from me. Thank you all for your help and support.

Absolutely amazing. I thought two days woukdnt be enough but they were so enjoyable, learnt so much and just incredible. Nick was my instructor and I couldn’t praise him enough ! The organisation of it was fab as well and were able to adapt any requests I had such as coming in 30 mins earlier. They go above and beyond. Nick was such a good instructor, got on with him so well, and I couldn’t have done it without him! Would highly recommend this place to do driving!

Passed my d1 with the training instructor Tony forst time out. Big thanks to big wheelers, Tony's vast knowledge and friendly approach set me at ease and made the 2 days training enjoyable and I felt well ready for the test highly recommend.

If you need any driver training then Big Wheelers will get you through it! Passed C+E from a car licence tested Terry’s’ patience but smashed it the end. Very easy to deal with and all well organised by the admin staff.

Hi. I recently completed my HGV Class training course with Jeff James and got my pass with no minors aswell at the end of it. Jeff was a great help as I never drove HGV's before my training. He was very friendly & very knowledgeable aswell. Thankyou very much Jeff. The service I received was top level, couldn't of asked for anything better. With Jeff's help and guidance I managed to complete my manoeuvre and coupling tests 2 days earlier than originally scheduled. The quality of the vehicles and materials provided was top level also, the trucks are well looked after and clean. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had Dave for the day of my test who was such a lovely guy to meet and also very knowledgeable. That being said, I meet most of the staff there and all are very friendly. I would highly recommend Big Wheelers for all your driving training. Big thanks to Jeff and the big wheelers for getting me through class 1 training and test even though I had no confidence I could pass the guys twisted my arm and picked me up and gave me the push I needed.

Was so nervous doing this course especially a few days before Christmas and my test was day before xmas eve. But Jeff my instructor was a class bloke. Made me feel so chilled out and confident. The whole set up was amazing and I highly recommend for anyone wanting to do their class 1. Easy to understand and get to grips of with the way Jeff explains and comes across. ? .

I recently passed my Cat CE with Big Wheelers. The tuition from Tony was superb, which resulted in a perfect drive on the day of my test. Cannot recommend Big Wheelers enough. Thanks guys .
