Peter is an absolute star! He has moved us from Cumbria to Newcastle, Cumbria to the south of France and Newcastle to the south of France. He has also moved our son from Sheffield to Anglesey. On each occasion he has been extremely helpful and thoughtful, totally reliable, friendly and positively wonderful. He goes beyond expectations!

Peter moved a van load from GB to the South of France for us. It all went really well, it was quick, on time and he was most efficient with loading and unloading. Peter is a gentleman and I recommend his services.

Peter moved my belongings from Switzerland to Kendal in October 2017. I have moved around the world. And P. L. S Couriers, are by far the best removal firm I have ever had. Peter is a real gentleman, and nothing was to much trouble for him. Excellent service, thank you.

Peter organised our removals from Sheffield to Anglesey with less than a weeks notice. I can't commend or thank him enough. He delivered a brilliant service and put in an amazing amount of effort to ensure it all went smoothly. I could never have expected anyone to be so professional and yet so friendly. His charges were also a fraction of the cost we had been quoted by others. In summary we feel he should be very highly recommended.

A competitive, quick, stress free service. I highly recommend for big or small loads. We got a half van moved out to Vencia from London and Peter had the load collected and delivered without fuss and with care. An excellent service.

A collection was made from an address in North Wales for a relative in Cumbria. Asked if he could take desk and bookcase to Kent. No problem and the items were collected then and there and delivered 2 days later in good condition.

I've moved twice with Peter now. The first time we had seriously underestimated how much stuff we had but Peter had luckily turned up with another van that day and we managed to fill both to the limit! He offered us such a decent price for the other van and offered to help us in so many ways with fitting in pieces we'd forgotten in the garage that we were amazed at how friendly and helpful he was. It was a real pleasure, especially when you're in the middle of moving house to have such help like this. And then there's the speed at which Peter moved everything into the van! We were really grateful for the whole service as well as meeting Peter. There was no doubt that we'd ask him again to help us. Found Peter Slater via websearch and what a godsend he turned out to be for shipping 4 boxes and a picture from Cumbria to south-east London. I was in no immediate rush for the delivery but only had to wait until just after New Year for delivery of a pre-Christmas pick-up. Peter often comes down to London so not long before he has a vanload. Excellent value for money and would use again for similar shipping or for small local removals in London area. Excellent communication, trustworthy and a genuine small local company. I do not hesitate to recommend.

I can confidently recommend Peter to anyone wanting to move household materials to France. He arrived on one of the wettest days of the year but remained efficient and jovial, if not a little wet. I will certainly use him again if required in the future.

Peter has been an absolute star! We had to move furniture from Cumbria to the south of France but were not going to be in the UK when the furniture had to be picked up. Peter organised help so that he could load up the van and he did this on three occasions and brought three loads down to us. He then moved what was left of my belongings over to Newcastle, having to hang around all day whilst we waited for completion of my purchase to happen. Peter is an amazing packer and unpacker - how he gets so many items into that van is a mystery to me. He is good at assessing how much will make up a load. None of our items were damaged. He rang me to check that he had collected the right things as we were not there when he collected them. He was amazingly reassuring when I had doubts about how everything would fall into place and was basically absolutely wonderful. Would no doubt use again. I used Peter for moving from London to the Lake District. He was super responsive, efficient, friendly and easy to deal with. All went as he promised and as well timed as a as Swiss watch. No stress in anyway, with perfect level of support.

Peter provided us with a great service to move furniture from UK to France. The move involved picking up in the Lake District, dropping off in the Midlands and final delivery to France - all done exactly to the schedule proposed. I used this company to move boxes and other items from London to Cumbria. Peter was efficient, hard working, very reliable, we talked things over on the telephone, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend him and I will definitely use PLS again.

I used PLS Couriers when I moved at the beginning of February. They were very reasonably price and Peter was easy to get hold of to make final arrangements with, nothing was too much trouble. The property I was moving from was up two flights of stairs and I knew that it would be awkward to get various large pieces of furniture I own out and down to Peter's van, but I nothing phased him or the colleague helping him, they just didn't stop! Everything was out by lunch and by mid afternoon, it was all unloaded at the new property. Peter also knew I needed to collect a fridge freezer from kirkby Lonsdale but had yet to arrange a vehicle to collect it in, so he picked that up for me before he finished too, for which I was hugely grateful. Honest, trustworthy and more than reasonably priced, I wouldn't hesitate to use PLS Couriers again, I can't recommend them highly enough.
