Over and beyond Having found myself in a real dilemma about some shutters I was given simple shutters number.
From the first telephone call with Tracy to the last one with Paul this company over came my issue with superb customer service and professionalism.
I will be using these guys again soon but would recommend them to anyone …. Thank you Andy Brooks Cross Bay Caravans Ltd.

We are delighted with our wooden shutters. Paul Millar telephoned me after I had placed my online order to discuss whether I really needed the extra fitting kit which I had ordered. As it turned out I didn\'t and Paul saved me £30 or so. Paul also spent a long time talking to me about my exact requirements and how to paint them to preserve their look as long as possible. Thank you Paul, as I said we are delighted with the shutters, they look great.

I cannot praise Simply Shutters enough. Having had our window shutters for about ten years, a small section came off and was unfortunately mistakenly recycled! I contacted Simply Shutters, not expecting anything to be possible after ten years, but not only have they replaced the missing part for me but this was carried out free of charge with the greatest of good cheer, smiles and excellent service. A huge thank you. Can highly recommend, after ten years the shutters still look like new.

Having tried to order louvre doors from a number of different companies in England (we live in Greece) and being extremely disappointed with the service, we finally came across Simply Shutters and quite simply, they have renewed our faith in online ordering! From contacting them on Monday 13th- when they answered the phone immediately, the (24) doors were packed and sent to the depot in UK on Tuesday 14th ready for being shipped to Greece. Paul at the company was incredibly helpful and informative, and spent a long time with us on the phone answering all our questions. He arranged for the doors to be packed very securely as they were being shipped overseas. The customer care/service from this company is exceptional, professional and very unusual these days. We are waiting now for the items to arrive and will update this review once they do - but am sure we will be as delighted with the product as we have been with the service. Cannot recommend this company highly enough to anyone wanting their products.

UPDATE 28th. November
Items were despatched promptly by the company to the depot in UK and reached our home overseas yesterday. Paul told us the items had been especially well packed to avoid damage as they were being shipped overseas - what an understatement that was! The packaging was first rate- very thorough and meticulously done which ensured the items reached us in pristine condition. We were equally impressed and delighted with the doors - they are beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. We can certainly have them fitted without needing to do anything further to them. We are delighted to have found a company who have provided such a first rate service from start to finish and who have provided us with doors as excellent as described.

I found Simply Shutters Ltd after the first company I dealt with failed me in so many ways.

Simply Shutters Ltd are a small family run business that offer a very personalized service to their customers. The customer service and product knowledge is absolutely five stars. I changed my order three times, due to mistakes by myself, and there was never an issue. On most occasions’ customer calls are answered by the company directors, thus you are always speaking to the business owners.

I ordered two white louvre doors for a bedroom cupboard. When the doors arrived, they were exceptionally well packaged and damage free. The quality of the finish had been played down by the people I had spoken to. Thus, the quality of the finish was also five star – no need for any additional painting. The finished paintwork is rather like an eggshell paint.

No money was debited to my card until the product was shipped – thus also a very moral company.

I was so pleased with my products and the customer service I received, I actually volunteered to write this review without being asked.

We MUST support companies like this if good customer service matters.

We decided that decorative shutters would finish the look of our cottage and add to "street appeal".
We chose this company for several reasons, its a family uk based business, they would be easy to put up being a lightweight material and on the website, looked very much like wood without the hassle of having to paint and maintain them.
You do have to wait as the shutters are made to your specific measurements, so be patient but interesting to know, our money was not taken until the delivery day.
When checking the progress of our order, I spoke to Jill, who provided excellent customer service, very friendly too !
Highly recommend.

Value fir money- from my initial phone enquires it was obvious that staff had good product knowledge and were anxious to ensure the customer was made fully aware of the product and because I wanted a colour close to my existing front door samples of the colours were sent to me. On arrival it was clear that the front door was made of an identical material and colour. To the shutters. Order placed and delivered within the expected time frame. Fitting fairly straight forward for me as a retired builder. Read the installation guide and donot deviate from the drill sizes recommended. Well done everyone concerned and thank you.

I ordered with this company because I thought as a small family run business they would provide excellent customer service - how wrong I was! After ordering ‘solid pine’ standard fit Louvre doors - I had discussed with my workmen and they said they would be fine as they were solid pine. I was initially happy with the look of the product - when it eventually arrived - I believe it was around a 2 week lead time. When the workman came to fit them they said they would be unable to plane them to size (a few cm) as they were made of compacted pine - not solid pine as described, this would not plane well and give a nice finish so I reordered doors that were made to measure for a considerable amount more than I had paid for the ones off the shelf and another 2 week wait! I spoke to customer service regarding returning the standard sized doors and was told that as I was one day out of the 14 day return policy I would have to send them the next day by courier to get a refund - I explained that I was working away for the rest of the week and wouldn’t be able to send until the week after when I returned home, the lady on the phone told me if they didn’t receive them that week (the call was on a Wednesday!) I would not get a refund so I am now over £100 out of pocket with standard sized doors that they could have easily popped back on their ‘shelf’ and resold. And I have 3 doors sat in my shed that are absolutely no use to me whatsoever. The 2 week policy seems ridiculous to standard items that are still in their packaging.

Company response : Lynsey, I am shocked to read your review. What you have said seems so very unlike us and it appears that we have received no previous communication from you to let us know that you were so unhappy. I may well be wrong, but I suspect that there may have been some misunderstanding regarding the return of the doors. Please allow us some time to investigate to verify things at our end and we shall get back to you with a response. One thing that is for certain is that we do not market our doors as being made of \'solid pine\'. All the doors that we offer for sale are \'engineered\' for much greater stability and duly promoted as such. Engineered doors are accepted as being of a much higher quality than solid wood doors because they are less likely to twist and warp as expansion and contraction always follows the grain of the timber.
