Very pleased with service received from MacBook-Repairs. My Macbook pro 2020 was constantly crashing approx. Every 2 mins.
Was quoted around £470 to repair at apple store. Macbook-Repairs diagnosed problem was with the touchbar and cost to repair was £250.
Shipment there and back was tracked and covered by them. They contacted me to let me know they received my laptop and kept me informed throughout the process. Must confess I was initially hesitant to send it off having never dealt with them before, but needn\'t have worried. Highly recommended.

What can I say. These guys are absolutely magic. The reviews are all 100% and it\'s only through personal experience you realise actually how good eFix are. My experience with eFix has been nothing short of true excellence, even before I placed my order with them. I contacted eFix and Reece was straight on with his communication. I told him what my MacBook\'s symptoms were and Reece was confident what the issue was and that they could fix it. I sent a video just in case and Reece was like, no problem. He was not wrong. My MacBook had a Flexgate issue which Apple quoted just short of £700 to fix. These guys did it in £200 and even paid for the postage there and back. Brilliant service that I would highly recommend to anyone having MacBook issues! I sent in my 2015 model MacBook Pro as the screen had stopped working. I was emailed at every stage of the process to explain the costs involved in the process, what needed doing with my laptop, and asked whether I wanted to proceed.
Sending your laptop off is nerve wracking but I felt totally confident the whole time in their communication and work. Laptop came back clean and working, all fixed for a very fair price. Thanks again .

Knowledgeable, professional, reliable, polite, helpful, super-efficient.
All you need to know really but details follow.
While in Greece I upset a glass of wine over the keyboard of my Mac.
They were unable to revive it locally, and sent it to specialists in Athens, from where it came back with an ‘unrecoverable’ diagnosis.
On my return I located Macbook-Repairs on Google. Their terms are such that as there had been a previous attempt to fix it further damage may have been caused, and there would therefore be a £40 handling charge if it was unrecoverable. This seemed reasonable to me; I would at least be sure, and I could probably get that amount back on eBay for parts.
They made the procedure for sending them the Mac simple and efficient.
There was a point where they informed me in detail of their progress, and I was given the opportunity to either continue or have the Mac returned with the £40 fee. I decided to continue.
A problem with the access password that put unexpected and time-consuming pressure on them was handled professionally and politely.
They were able to recover my Mac to full working order, which was amazing although, had that not been possible, I would still have rated them highly.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. It was spot-on in every aspect – fast, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, no-nonsense and cost-effective.
My main workhorse, a MacBook Pro 2019 had finally died a death on me. I concluded that it needed a battery replacement and sought out a local specialist who installed a new cheap battery but still couldn’t get it to work. In fact, the computer came out in a worse condition than when it went in. Looked as though it had been in the wars a bit.
Browsing the internet, I came across eFix, read the reviews, and decided to entrust them with my Mac.
The packaging, delivery and return were superb as was the courier service they used. The turnaround was reasonably quick and I was greatly reassured when Reece told me that they could fix it. Today I have my Mac back, working well and looking in pristine condition.
When I was quoted £245 for a new battery and some secondary repairs I thought that was probably just for the parts and was expecting at least another £100-200 for labour and diagnostics. To my great surprise and delight this quote was the total cost.
I cannot speak highly enough of this company and they will be my first port of call should I need any Mac repairs in the future.

I can\'t speak highly enough of the excellent customer experience I\'ve had with eFix Ltd.
When something seems too good to be true it usually is - not in this case. I read lots of the 5 star reviews and found it hard to believe that a company would provide free return postage with no charge if my Mac couldn\'t be fixed and a 12 month guarantee if it could - all at a cost hugely less than the exorbitant quote I\'d had from Apple.
I\'d had a quote from the Apple Repair Centre of over £1,400! Apple had told me that the Logic Board could not be repaired and would have to be replaced along with \'other components connected to the Logic Board\', presumably the SSD and memory at that price.. They also told me that all my data had definitely been deleted and could not be recovered.
When I disputed the need for also replacing other components the local Apple Store offered to replace just the Logic Board for £735 - but with no guarantee it would work!

EFix Ltd who did in fact repair my Mac. It came back as good as new - with all data on my SSD intact!. It was packaged really well, and returned within 10 days. It had even been given a clean-up and there were a couple of sweets in the packaging! They were very professional throughout and I was kept fully informed by email of the progress of the repair. Reece even kindly provided a couple of \'before and after\' photos of the repaired Logic Board when I asked.
I would have given more than 5 stars if I could!
So much for the so called \'experts\' - I will never trust what Apple staff tell me again.

Unfortunately my water bottle leaked in my bag, all over my 6-month old MacBook - it was absolutely saturated. I was gutted and took my device to the Apple store who said it would be £1399 for a repair without Apple Care! I had a quick look online and found MacBook Repairs and booked in for an liquid damage evaluation. Paid the £15 for the additional protection and it was delivered to the repair centre a few days later. Reece updated me on what the damage was and the cost for the repair, which was a lot more reasonable (£360) than the cost quoted by Apple. There was a slight delay due to ordering an additional part directly from the manufacturer as it was beyond repair, but Reece kept me up to date. I received my MacBook back today and everything is in full working order! Less than 3 weeks turnaround.

I contacted these guys as my macbook pro 2016 screen had seemed to have broken. From messaging on their site they identified and recognised the issues I had and was confident to fix the issue. I also needed to replace my battery which they did at the same time and everything now is running great. They were super helpful with other questions I had along the way. I was a bit sceptical as they are far from Wales (where I am) but they were fast with the whole process so it was barely an inconvenience. Dealing with eFix Ltd was an extraordinarily satisfying experience. Their service, and specifically Reece\'s communication, was first-rate, transparent, and highly professional.

The fee for the repair was reasonable and competitive, and their punctuality was commendable, delivering exactly as they had promised.

The repair of my MacBook took a total of two weeks. Given the inevitability of computer issues in the future, if my Mac needs fixing again, I\'ll certainly go for their express check option, which is available for an extra £40.

Flawless from start to finish. Reece communicated with me very clearly and quickly, answering all of my technical questions and giving advice as to what the best course of action would be.

I went to a different repair shop prior to using eFix, who tried to replace parts unnecessarily (~£800 cost). After their failure in fixing the device I sent it to eFix who provided a professional service, repairing the logic board and replacing two other parts for only £190 (excluding cost of new parts). The 12 month warranty also gives me peace of mind should anything go wrong. The device was also shipped packaged very securely when being returned.

Cannot recommend them enough and will be back should I encounter any issues further down the line.

So happy I found this service!! Apple quoted me £700 for a display replacement when my screen went black and wouldn’t switch on. I called a few repair websites trying to get something a little cheaper, ans when I called Mac-Repairs they asked me to check a few things on my Mac then told me that its a simple cable repair that Apple refuse to do so they can encourage me to buy a new laptop. They quoted me £220 saving me nearly £500! The service has been great, I received my laptop today all fixed and my display performing as if its brand new! My 2015 MacBook may now be almost a collector\'s item but was fully rejuvenated by people who, if they came in a tin, would do what it said on the lid. I poured a whole cup of coffee over my MacBookPro. The keyboard stopped working and I was in the middle of some serious work. I called Reece and he was very helpful. I sent it to him that day and paid £40 for an express service as I needed it back ASAP. Reece emailed the next day to say he knew what he needed to do, new keyboard, mend the logic board corrosion (which was actually historic and resulted in fans on full power for half a decade!) and I also decided to get a new battery as the old one only worked for 20 minutes for over 8 years as those batteries are hopeless for lasting.
Two days later Reece posted it back and it works like a dream. New battery lasts for hours, the fans are behaving and the keyboard works like new.
I was really lost as to what to do when I poured the coffee over it. It was the reviews for this repair shop that caught my attention, so I have taken the trouble to write my own as that feels like the right thing to do as Reece is a very genuine chap.

Apple told me that my 4-year old MacBook Air would cost at least £450 to repair and I\'d lose the whole memory. My MBP keyboard and trackpad failed during lockdown and, not wanting to be ever without my mac, resolved to solely working with a monitor with magic keyboard and mouse. Very impressed with this company. The whole experience for me was just flawless and very positive. Firstly, their \'no fix no fee\' offer is just a no brainer so well done to whoever does their marketing. The communication was top notch for me. We had some back and forth about the age of my mac-book. They were very honest about their concerns. We agreed for me to send it. Within a few days they\'d emailed me with the suggested fixes and an estimated price. Once I agreed the work they fixed it, it worked, and had it back to me inside 24hrs of them fixing it. I didn\'t pay for any postage either. They were even kind enough to clean my mac-book for me (it was pretty filthy). So now my mac not only is back to life but feels brand new. All in all I\'m extremely impressed. I would use again and 100% recommend.

My 5 years old Mac Book Pro was damaged by liquid. Apple Genius Bar said they do not do repairs but could change the motherboard for £1,430. I\'m a student who procrastinated getting my really new water damaged macbook (a cup of hot tea spilt over the keyboard) due to uncertainties about the level of damage, where to go for help and the costs. The tea was left sitting in the laptop for three months until I finally decided to get it looked at and found efix. I didn\'t have a lot of hope for the laptop so I rang before sending it in and reassurance on the good pricing, seeing as apple had charged a LOT more than the £200 I payed with these guys. 10/10 customer service, updated through every stage of the process and brill service in general.

I’ve got a tea damaged Macbook and went to three local computer repair shops but only to be told it was not fixable. Eventually I went to App shop and they quoted the repair for £800, which was too much for us. Then I found eFix online and sent my Macbook out to them. I work for a company that gives our employees MacBooks to work with. Unfortunately for us we have had three broken MacBooks in the last 6 months.

I found this company online, and as always abit skeptical about sending such an expensive and important device out.

I sent out two at the same time with different problems on both.

This company will now be our go too for any future problems. The service is so good, super reliable (they use a free tracked label to send the device off) and make you aware of when it has arrived. Fast - I think it took two weeks, possible less to have both MacBooks sent back to us. We have had both of them for over 5 years, and they are working as good as they where when we first bought them. So much cheaper than replacing them too.

One of them had severe water damage which I imagine would have been hard to repair!

I’d been needing to have my MacBook Pro repaired for some time but was procrastinating because of my uncertainties re. Logistics of posting the machine etc.

But from my very first call to eFix to enquire about pricing and practicalities, Reece couldn’t have been more helpful. EFix is prime service and support like I haven’t dealt with in years.

They were able to fix my Mac Air logic board with liquid damage and save all my work, when Apple itself quoted for an absurd value (after 1 month of wasted time in back-and-forth conversations with countless people and no transparency whatsoever, and without ever considering the option to save my data). EFix to the rescue. From the initial quote to the invoice email. Total time: 2 weeks. Including quote, posting, initial (free) assessment, repair itself and all the efficient comms/support. It’s rare to deal with this level of excellency+honesty when nowadays the default approach is skepticism.

Specially kudos to Reece for the quick and straight to the point communications, and the whole business for the transparency and level of detail - even the repair label was an easy to peel one that doesn’t get stuck to the device as usual.

Can’t fault the service I received, I missed the message on their site that they were closed for a period when my MacBook was in for repair (my fault entirely) and upon notifying them I needed my MacBook urgently for work they communicated it would be with me ASAP and true to their word I had it back in a few days. Superb service, great communication, cheap price would recommend to anybody.
Macbook had liquid spilt on it. John Lewis repairs (outside of warranty) were quoting £900 for a new motherboard even though MacBook would boot-up and screen was working. Damage was to wi-fi card and ports. E-fix quoted for repairs to motherboard and it cost £150, of which £50 was optional. Returned MacBook was packaged really well and works perfectly.

After going to Apple and being told that my MacBook Air would cost £400/500 to be repaired and that it would be wiped, I was amazed to find e-fix. The reviews are true!! I sent eFix my Macbook Air after the backlight stopped working. Due to covid and being very busy, they warned me in advance that the repairs and posting may take closer to 2 weeks than the expected 5-7 days. The postage both ways was covered by eFix, and was very easy and accommodating. They kept me up to date at all stages of the process and, when a fault was discovered that meant the laptop would only play sound through headphones, eFix gave me the option to take the laptop in that state or for them to fix it. The prices were all very reasonable and I was very happy with the service which, even with the extra repair, took 2 weeks and 2 days. I would definitely go to them again!

A small amount of water was spilt on the table which my MacBook Pro was sat on, the water ran under the laptop, I moved it instantly but the damage was done. I did the first thing that I think anyone does in a similar situation and I called apple. I was holding on the phone for a good 40 mins (don’t pick jazz it gets annoying) after they picked up, I explained my situation and the person over the phone said that he wasn’t sure what was going on but he offered a company that are authorised and work with apple. I booked an appointment online for the Friday (it was a Wednesday when I booked). The day came and with high hopes I hopped in the car and drove to Leeds, (which is about 50mins from where I live). To the company which claimed they were the most experienced as they worked with apple etc. I gave them the computer and explained what had happened and they said they would take a look. Later that day I received a voicemail claiming that my “MacBook pro was ready to pick up” I thought this was brilliant as I knew the damage couldn’t have been severe but I didn’t expect it to take less than a day. On the Monday I went and collected my MacBook from them as early as possible, I was very excited as I needed it to carry on with my work. I got there and they told me that they opened it up and couldn’t do anything with it and that it was the exact same as when I’d brought to them on the Friday a few days ago. As you can tell, I was not too happy, I would have rather they told me over the phone so that I could have booked something for the day I picked it up to speed up the process but their communication was awful and they were very vague with everything they explained. I looked around on google once I was home and found eFix. I called them up and the first question I asked was, are you able to actually look at my computer before I send it you just so that I don’t waste my time like I did before. And they told me that they look at anything and so I began to explain my situation, and what was going on with my MacBook. Over the phone the eFix employee (i forgot his name and I really wish I remember because he was brilliant) but over the phone the eFix employee began to tell me what my problem most likely was and he even told me the year and model of my MacBook Pro which absolutely amazed me and he said that the problem I was having was a common problem for the year and model of my MacBook and that it was an easy fix, he told me that I would need a new battery and the price it would cost. Once they’d received my MacBook it took 3 days for them to tell me my problem which is what they stated on the website and then only 2 days for them to invoice me. Their communication throughout the entire process was perfect and they always replied to emails quickly. Yesterday I received an email confirming the shipment of my MacBook and that it would arrive shortly back to me. 10 minutes later I received another email saying that it would come the next day and it would probably be about midday. It is now 10:23am and my MacBook arrived at 9:30am (the following day as they said) I am more than happy with my experience with this company and honestly if I could give 10 stars I would because 5 stars are not enough to say how brilliant this company have been.

Fantastic service, it took a little longer than expected but perfectly make sense as during lockdown lots of people would use online services. Reece the customer service personnel was very helpful, did answer all my questions patiently. My MacBook is fixed now and one year warranty definitely gives me a peace of mind. I’ve came across other online companies offering similar sort of service perhaps quoting £20/£30 less however compare to Apple’s service the charge seems cheaper. I would recommend iFix anytime.

I never leave reviews but I am so happy with this service. I read a bunch of reviews before sending my laptop off but I was still so nervous sending it somewhere that wasn\'t apple themselves but I had nothing to worry about. I was sent constant updates from my laptop arriving with them to it being fixed and back in my hands. The communication was excellent throughout the process and from me actually sending my laptop off to me having it back into my hands was just under two weeks which I cannot fault. I had to have my mac fixed once before (i know im clumsy i\'ll never learn) and I sent it to apple in 2018 less than a year after buying it and that cost me just short of £500. This time I knew I couldn\'t afford that so when eFix quoted me £180 I was very pleased. I definitely recommend this service and if you are anxious like I was sending it off don\'t be! I have had my MacBook pro for 8 years when on Dec 23rd I (accidentally) tried to share my festive flavoured coffee with it. Needless to say, the outcome was devastating. I knew eventually (before the accident) that I would need to have my battery replaced but I was unsure of where to go and who to trust as going to back to Apple was not an option.
Now forced to have it fixed, I researched a few MacBook repair companies online and after a strict process of elimination, I chose eFix Mac Repairs.
I am so happy I did! The agent (Reece) was professional, polite and walked me through how eFix works.
There was full communication from start to end and the diagnosis and fixes were exactly what my MacBook needed. I was given a list of options and recommendations and there was no pressure to do any of the options. I asked alot of questions, received comprehensive answers that gave me the reassurance that I made the right choice to call them.
Price wise, I set aside a budget for the initial fix (new keyboard and battery) but ended up with a few updates and minor fixes all which came into my original budget.
My MacBook arrived in the discussed time range and was well packaged.
It is now performing as new.
I would (and have already) highly recommend these guys.

My Macbook died and I contacted Apple who wanted £570 upfront to look at it. I came across Macbook Repairs (eFix) and with some trepidation sent my laptop off to this company unknown to me.

As it turns out, I had nothing to worry about. Super clear communication, laptop fixed, super quick, free postage, £180. Laptop returned, good as new.

Amazing communication and exceedingly helpful. Unfortunately there was no saving my MacBook after pretty bad water damage (be sure to get your laptop seen ASAP don’t wait a month as I had to do) as it was stated it wouldn’t be worth replacing the part that needed replacing with no guarantee it would work after as it would be very difficult to obtain being of the 2011/12 model. Offered a data recovery as compensation/trade for them to keep the broken MacBook. Thankfully all data was saved and nothing lost which was my main concern. So very thankful to that. Sad it couldn’t be saved but they did all they could and were honest about advice moving forward etc whereas I imagine most would push you to spend money on repairs that weren’t worth while. Hopefully be able to find the right replacement soon.

Beyond impressed with these guys.

I called them up before buying the service and the guy who answered was really helpful, spent about half an hour talking to me about whether it was worth doing the repair and the life of MacBooks etc. So I decided to go for it.

Within a couple days of it arriving they sent me an invoice with three repairs asking if I wanted to go ahead with them. It was £140 for a new trackpad, £35 to fix a blown out speaker and £15 to fix the sticky space bar. Honestly I haven\'t shopped around much so I\'m not sure how competitive these prices are, but I do know they are a lot cheaper than doing the repairs with Apple themselves. Best of all, they told me that they had to remove the battery to get to the trackpad anyway, so they offered me a new battery half price which was really nice. In total I paid £280 for a new trackpad, new speaker, fixed space bar and new battery so I\'m really chuffed.

My laptop arrived home within two days of the repairs being finished in decent packaging, and I that not only is it perfectly fixed, but found they had completely cleaned the whole laptop including the all the gunk in the keyboard and a perfectly polished screen which is a very nice touch, and they even put some sweets in the box.

100% recommend.

I’m so glad that the Apple dealer I bought my MacBook from said it would take a month to repair it as it meant that I found this brilliant company.

Not only did they charge a great deal less to replace my damaged screen, the service from the initial contact with Reese was OUTSTANDING. Excellent, extremely prompt, polite communication and a great turnaround time, even though the poor guys are currently swamped! Not surprising given their superb standard of service.

My MacBook arrived completely restored, good as new. I’m extremely grateful to these guys for such excellent customer service. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend them.

My \'old\' MacBookAir fans were running continually at full blast and it was unusable, Apple had written it off due to it\'s age but then I came across MacBook Repairs and I am so glad I did! I had a MacBook Pro Retina 2012 which I cherished. Then I started to get problems when trying to boot up, sometimes not booting up at all. I did the usual try YouTube etc but no luck. They fixed my Mac which I am ecstatic about for around £300 less than what was quoted by Apple. Damaged the LCD on my MacBook Pro, which in turn needed replaced. Looked absolutely everywhere locally for someone who could get the part in, but to no joy. Got in touch with these guys, Reece was extremely helpful and got me out of a jam. We sent several emails back and forth gathering details and arranging the pair, he replied to all of my emails within 15 mins and kept me well informed throughout. He sourced a part within a few hours and sent me all the documentation requested by my insurers.

Sent the MacBook away, insured postage was paid by them which was a nice touch, and got it back from DPD within 7 days. Absolutely outstanding service - fixed within a third of the time and much cheaper than what Apple had quoted me.

Hopefully I don\'t need a repair again in the future, but if I do, I will definitely be using these guys again!

I used eFix after a mug of tea was spilled straight into the back of my MacBook Pro after which the machine wouldn\'t switch on or even charge. They offered free insured postage both ways together with a free no obligation quote so nothing to lose. Their service was prompt, easy to use and they were excellent at keeping me informed of progress. A few days later it was returned in full working order. During the whole process I was communicating by email with one very polite person who made it easy and personal. This helped when a few days after the machine was returned I mentioned a small issue I was having. I got a response with a solution in 15 minutes. I can only say my experience was excellent and I would certainly recommend them and give particular thanks to Reece.

EFix Ltd is a company based on honesty and integrity. There was transparency in all of the repairs needed/or not needed and everything was resolved within a matter of a couple of days with my Macbook Air.

EFix Ltd carried out a repair on my Macbook pro following water damage. They analysed the issue, sent photos of the damage and provided a very reasonable quote for the repair.
The work was carried out promptly and to an excellent standard. The macbook was returned within a few days and delivered hassle free to my door. Much cheaper than apple approved repair centres and because my machine is considered vintage the apple approved centres (unlike eFix) wouldn\'t even consider repair. I would recommended this company very highly.

Absolutely fantastic service. Sent in my broken MacBook (for free). Received an email 4 days later stating that it could be fixed and the cost(which I found to be reasonable). Paid, and the repair took an additional 4 days. My MacBook has arrived home working perfectly.

Was like some others dubious about sending my Mac Book Pro - read the reviews and all looked OK - Very OK - Called for a quote for replacing battery. Very good price - worth the extra £12 for really sturdy box and bubble wrap and postage. Unit was checked and battery replaced in just over a week (and some of that was DCL sending back over a weekend. Sent my ancient MacBook 17" Pro in for repairs. Not hopeful as screen not working intermittently and had liquid spilt on it. Undoubtedly THE BEST customer service I have ever received!

I accidentally spilt coffee on my Macbook Air and after two weeks of following advice found online to leave it in rice, I took it to the Apple Store where they informed me that a repair would cost me in excess of £1,100 (More than the price of a brand new (same spec) Mac). Worse still, they told me that the damage to my mac would mean that all of my stored data would be completely lost!

Day 1.
I found eFix/Macbook Repairs online and was astounded to see their perfectly scored customer reviews. I paid £12 for their pre-paid "1st Class Royal Mail Shipping Send Me Box / Bubblewrap / Label / insurance" service to ensure that no further damage could be inflicted on my beloved mac whilst it was in-transit.

Day 5.
I received an email from eFix notifying me that my Macbook had been received safely.

Day 7 eFix emailed to inform me that it would cost £180 to repair the logic board and that, should this work be successful, that there may be a further cost for additional parts which would be offered to me at a discounted price. They also ensured me that if the initial work was unsuccessful, that there would be no charge at all! I was told that I could expect the work to take 2-3 days and that I would be updated on the progress as soon as.

Day 8.
The NEXT DAY, they emailed me to tell me that the work on my Mac had been successful and that there would be NO ADDITIONAL COST as they had managed to get it working without any additional parts. I paid £180 and was told that my Mac would be shipped out to me the next working day.

Day 11.
I received my Macbook back - Fully Operational. To top it off, the fantastic team at eFix included some sweet goodies and a Thank You note with my Mac.

Fantastic service. Took my MacBook Pro in after taking it to Apple in Lakeside for a diagnosis. They told me I needed a new logic board and would charge me £470 after having the lap top for 2 and a half years when I didn\'t nothing but look after it - also they would only guarantee 90 days. The laptop was one day working and then suddenly stopped charging and responding to anything. Battery fine.

I spoke to Reece on the phone before dropping it in, as I am local, and he fixed the existing logic board for £180 and 12 months warrantee. A no brainer! Reece was always updating me via email about how it was all going very clearly and thankfully I\'m typing this review on my laptop so couldn\'t thank him and recommend eFix Ltd more to anyone who wants their Apple product repaired. Professional and reliable business. Do it!

My Mac was failing to charge and from looking around it looked like it was going to cost a lot to fix it. Based on reviews I tried eFix as they were highly reviewed. My experience couldn\'t have been better, ease of free delivery, quick responses to emails and a great price in my opinion. The service from eFix Ltd was outstanding, needed a new keyboard on a 2015 Macbook Pro that had been passed onto me through work. The original owner was a heavy smoker and the keyboard smelt like an old ashtray, which I simply couldn\'t get clean. These guys really know their stuff. My Air had been looked at by another so call Tech Company who said it was not repairable as they could not get the parts from Apple. Found eFix almost by accident on the internet. Phoned them and agreed to drop my Macbook Air off that day, same day email reciept, next day quote. That was so much cheaper than I thought, agreed it and two days later email to say it was all ready for collection, had been tested and working fine. Reece even cleared it back to factory settings. EFix fitted a new battery in my MacBook a year ago. It recently developed a fault where it randomly and frequently crashed. EFix suggested it was a motherboard problem, and took a look. They in fact determined it was a battery problem, replaced the battery free of charge, and didn\'t charge for any postage or packing. How brilliant is that… A really honest assessment, plus fantastic service. I can\'t recommend eFix highly enough. Ever had one of those days when everything goes wrong, and then the cherry on the sundae - your MacBook Pro won\'t boot up !. Yep ! Me too…

My loyal MBP is 10 years old now, so not covered by Applecare. I contacted one repair company, who had very mixed reviews and only a 3 month repair warranty; they told me to recycle my MBP and buy another !. I didn\'t have the funds to do this, so I took to the Internet and came across Reece at eFix Ltd.

From the start, Reece was honest - highlighting my options and repair cost vs value of laptop…. I was nervous posting my Mac, although I\'m glad I did. I never write reviews but I feel compelled to given the brilliant service I was given by Reece and his team. My macbook pro battery died, I tried to replace it myself but it wouldn\'t work. I sent it to Reece and he replaced the battery promptly and returned the Macbook in the same way. After this I unfortunately learned what I thought was a genuine charger from Apple purchased on Amazon was not, I sent the macbook in again for no money extra and Reece replaced the battery again and tested my new chargers bought directly from Apple. It\'s not too good to be true, they\'re a great business and for a very reasonable fair price (way, way under what Apple would quote) I have my 2013 macbook with a battery working like it\'s brand new. Keyboard and trackpad stopped working and took it to some local repairers who said it was unfixable or very expensive. Was a little bit apprehensive to send it off in the post, but it has turned out to be a great experience. Laptop sent, fixed and returned within a week. Great service.
