We had a large mobile kitchen island to assemble. Alan did an amazing job putting it together with logic, diligence and a great sense of humour. Given the enclosed instructions were of little help, Alan went "off piste" and did a terrific job. Would highly recommend the service given.

Gary and his team was amazing, they removed all the packaging of my daughters house bed and put all of it in the bin. They we’re very polite and quick. I felt very safe with the full PPE they we’re wearing and the distance they maintained when making their way into my daughters room. Thank you for the quick and safe assembling!!

Great turnaround on moving bed and wardrobe from old room to new room. Really friend staff. Very safe and wore all PPE equipment plus kept distance and had a great chat with him throughout the 2 and half hours or so that he was here. Great service great value and great results.

Such an amazing service provided by EM Flatpack! Could not fault it. Gary from the assembly team arrived on time and well protected with PPE- including mask, gloves and over shoes. He did such an incredible job of building our sliderobes and chest of drawers. Such great value for money, and good to know your furniture is being built by someone with such great expertise! Would highly recommend their services to family and friends and will use again in the future. .

Gary did a great job building 2 large wardrobes. The booking process was very easy and simple to follow and we were able to arrange a visit within 2 days. Gary arrived on time and the work was done in the time stated and everybody was polite and efficient. .

Gary and Lana built a big outdoor wooden playhouse for us in one day. We had it shipped from Poland and it needed around 300 screws and a lot of planning and assembly. They did a brilliant job. On time. Friendly. Competent. Thank you, we will use you again!

I would definitely use this service again in the future. The communication was excellent. Gary and Lana were friendly and competent. The wardrobe was assembled in less than an hour. Before contacting this company I hired an "handyman" who could not complete the work after 3 hours. Thank you again! Great job!

I am a very happy customer. The booking system is easy and there is constant communication between Kevin and I. Heavy duty railing and single bed with wardrobe was assembled at a competitive price. The workers are professional and all the work carried out was of a high standard. I am a very happy customer and will be returning.

I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY 0 STARS!I purchased a wardrobe, two bedside table’s and a four draw dresser from Benson for Beds. I was lead to believe that EM flatpack would be assembling the furniture on the date of delivery (24/07/2019). On Thursday 25/07/2019 I was contacted by Mr Kevin Williams (the impression given was that he was senior in the company as he spoke about "his staff”). Instead of apologising for not being able to complete the work as arranged and for any inconvenience caused, he launched into a conversation regarding his staffing issues (staff calling in sick), which meant that the installation would not take place on that day. When asked for the solution, he was unable to say when he would be able to complete the work, but agreed to get back to me the following day....read more

I purchased a wardrobe, two bedside table’s and a four draw dresser from Benson for Beds. I was lead to believe that EM flatpack would be assembling the furniture on the date of delivery (24/07/2019).
On Thursday 25/07/2019 I was contacted by Mr Kevin Williams (the impression given was that he was senior in the company as he spoke about "his staff”). Instead of apologising for not being able to complete the work as arranged and for any inconvenience caused, he launched into a conversation regarding his staffing issues (staff calling in sick), which meant that the installation would not take place on that day. When asked for the solution, he was unable to say when he would be able to complete the work, but agreed to get back to me the following day.
On Friday 26/07/2019, when I did not hear back from Mr Williams I contacted him and was advised that he would come on Sunday 28/07/2019, he indicated that work would commence in the morning, would not give a specific time. Given the fact that I had already taken time off work previsously and he had stated that he was the only company in the area offering this type of service, I felt that I had no choice but to accept his offer.
On Sunday 28/07/2019 at 11.30am I received a call from Mr Williams who informed me that he was on his way. At approximately 12.00pm Mr Williams and his assistant (a lady) arrived. There was no apology for the inconvenience caused previously and for the time they arrive as I was lead to believe that they were coming in the morning.
Before the work started I asked if he could put felt cushion pads under the wardrobe (bought by myself) to assist moving the wardrobe in the future and avoid scratching to the flooring, Mr Williams simply refused stating that it could be moved once installed and would not scratch the flooring. Not only did I find his response unhelpful, but from this point I could see the job was not going to go well and on reflection I should have asked them to leave given his lack of ‘customer Service’ and the level of hostility. As a man I was left me feeling very uncomfortable in my own home. I wonder what it would be like for the many female customers out there.
To add insult to injury, before even opening up the packaging he abruptly asked for payment “Michael could you pay me before I start." When questioned about this he told in a very rude and curt manner that “if I\'m not paid, I will leave. ” If this was not bad enough he highlighted that “I’ve walked off of three jobs because they did not pay me. ” He then followed with an explanation around his request not being unreasonable "everything needs to be paid for upfront ….. Did you pay for the delivery for your wardrobe before it was delivered. ” Naturally I was taken a back by his response and felt very offended, however, having taken time off work, having my clothes in my spare room, I felt that I had no choice to have the work completed and to pay him. When I requested a receipt (as the store had agreed to reimburse the installation cost due to the inconvenience caused) he advised hat he would give a paper receipt at the end of the job. As I was very annoyed my partner agreed to engage with him from this point onwards. When she attempted to spoke to him about his attitude, he unashamedly acknowledged that he was rude, but justified his attitude explaining “yes I know I’m curt but I don’t have time to spend explaining why I need to be paid before doing the work!”.
When the job came to an end Mr Williams attempted to leave the property without no conversation with myself or my partner. In the hallway when I asked if he had finished, his response was “talk to the girl. ” In regards to my request for the the receipt, he simply just walked out of the door. At this point, I was called to the room by his assistant who showed myself and partner the work undertaken. After speaking with her I went outside to his hired van and requested the receipt he had previously agreed to. Mr Williams rolled down the window a quarter of the way down and proceeded to tear off the end of a piece of scrap paper and write the amount charged for his service. When I explained that this was not an acceptable receipt, in distain, Mr Williams ’kissed his teeth’, threw the paper down in the car and drove off with his assistant. Although throughout the installation she did not act in the same way as Mr Williams did, she watched on whilst he was rude and disrespectful in my home.
In all of my years of dealing with tradesman I have never been treated in such a discourteous manner. How Benson for Beds could employ this company with personnel such as Mr Williams, is shocking. I would not allow this company back into my home and would not recommend that this company to my family and friends.

I will assume that the quality of work is to a high standard as you did not mention that it wasn\'t in your detailed comments above.

Gary was great, friendly and pleasant and introduced himself upon arrival. Checked out the route to the room and was very careful and taking the goods up the stairs. Once finished the assembly showed us what he had done and made sure we were happy with it. Top marks!

Very pleased with the service I received today they had to go and pick up 2 x two-door wardrobes extra large and large from Basildon take them both down move them to a different address assembling one of the two-door sliding mirror wardrobe. I was worried they would get damaged but they did not. Chris and his mate were great left not mess am decorating the other bedroom but when I have finished I Will be phoning for them to build my second wardrobe all went to plan highly recommended them.

Our Ottoman bed was assembled by Chris. He was fast efficient and helpful, all in all it took him half an hour to assemble the bed. We were very happy with the service provided. .

Gary was a very pleasant, happy-go-lucky chap who arrive within the stated time slot. Impressed me by wearing dust covers over shoes without being prompted. Unpacked and stacked cardboard away neatly and offered to carry it to recycling. Worked efficiently to put the bed together, would highly recommend his service and will use him again in the future. Thanks again Ann. (Will remember to stock up on the fizzy drinks and cordials).

I initially thought how could a man solely assemble such a big wardrobe without a second pair of hands. However, his skills proved me wrong and it finally ended up an amazing piece of work. If you could engage with Gary, you\'ll be surprised to see how knowledgeable he is with the current affairs :) Lastly, I have to mention about his honesty. Amazing job done by the team, Stephanie, Gary and Christopher. They managed to hoist my otoman super king size bed and bring it to the second floor of my house through the window, they then out the two pieces together and did all this plus assembling a sofa in less than 1 hour. Absolutely fantastic service. Thanks guys!

Very pleased with the service I received today regarding assembling a two-door sliding mirror wardrobe. The assembler (Gary) arrived on time and completed the job under 90 minutes. Very friendly, professional and excellent finish. I would definitely use their EM Flatpack services again and recommend them.

Gary came to dismantle my ottoman bed so the carpet could be changed and then he re-assembled the bed after the carpet fitters had been. The price was good for two visits in one day and I was able to get time slots confirmed either side of the carpet being changed. Gary was very professional, had shoe covers which is great as not everyone uses them! He got the bed down in no time and moved it out of the room with care so it was not damaged. Bed re-assembled with no issues and Gary made sure I was happy with what he had done afterwards by asking me to check the hinged mattress frame lifted ok. Gary was friendly (my dog loved him) and was also very helpful offering to help with an issue on my sliding wardrobe door that was causing it to half hang off. I was over the moon when I was told I had a female assembler. It was obvious that she knew what she was doing and very polite. Put the ottoman bed together with no problem. I would definitely use this company again.

This is the second time I have used EM FlatPack.Their service is fantastic and I was exceptionally pleased with Cosmin who came on this occasion he was very efficient polite and helpful although he had another appointment after mine he gave me time to dust down the base of the wardrobe that was very dusty which was appreciated rather than fitting it all dusty. He was also very thorough with the refitting insuring the backing which had been damaged was actually secure. Excellent workmanship and knowledge would always recommend and use again thank you again for making a stressful job stress free.

Gary and the team did a great job. Turned up on time, polite and respectful of my new property, even wearing protectors over their shoes for the carpets. Wardrobe was expertly assembled quickly and efficiently, and it\'s massive so wasn\'t an easy job. So pleased - booking to completion of the job was so smooth, I can highly recommend. Neil.

Kevin and Lana were extremely helpful today. Not only did they assemble.Our bed but they also helped us dismantle the old one and move it to another room. They were very jolly for 8 am on a Sunday morning!
