Given the high cost of the components involved, I wanted to engage an expert rather than try diagnose it myself. I found LyJoTo online, Jos was very quick to reply to emails. I left the PC with Jos and within minutes he had diagnosed the failed component. He ordered and fitted a new component, and ordered and fitted another small cable splitter needed for all the fans. He resolved a boot sequence fault that had developed.
