My 55 inch hisense tv just stopped working and I was going to throw it out until I looked into TV repair. Found this guy on Google and asked if he could repair, gave him the make and model of the TV, he diagnosed over the phone, took the TV down to him and it was repaired and ready for collection 2 days later. It turned out the back light was at fault and he replaced for a new one. I highly recommend this guy! And to think I was going to throw the TV into the skip .

Initially contacted Nigel by e-mail on Monday evening and followed up with a call next day. He explained possible causes of problem and outlined costs, we arranged pickup on Wednesday afternoon at my convenience. Checked back this morning and all completed. Fully working and rejuvenated tv newly delivered. Repair less than half the cost of a new tv, which I didn\'t relish because mine was only 3 years old anyway (but apparently past it according to the shop I bought it from and the manufacturer, unless I was prepared to drive halfway across the country with it). Very happy to have found Nigel, thoroughly recommend service :-).

I can’t express enough how impressed I am with the service that Nigel has provided. We had a faulty screen which only happens 2 years after we have purchased the TV. He assisted us all the way and also told us what our legal rights were in terms of consumers. I can write an essay, however I was happy with the final outcome! No other company would go to the lengths than this company and that’s 100%. Fair prices, excellent communication at any hours of the day and ease of transaction! A+++.

Got a 11 year old 3DTV 50"LG, screen went black/blanck but still turned on and off but nothing else. If it wasnt for it being 3D I wouldve scrapped and bought a new TV, but seing as they are not easy to come by I thought id try Nigel.

Even though I spoke to nigel, first by text and then call, and was informed that I was out of his area, nigel very kindly told me to bring it over and he could repair it for me.

As a naturaly sceptic person I thought twice but then decided to give it a try.

HOW chuffed I was to have done so. Nigel received it at 6.15 on a tuesday night and was ringing me by 3.30 the following day to pick it back up. There was an issue in that my remote control was also not working and therefore I couldnt see if the TV would still display in 3D (whole point of repair). None of this reflects on nigel who very kindly said if I get a remote and it doesnt work he would carry out more work for me on the set.

All fears I had while awaiting a new remote from amazon were leavened as nigel was still in touch and explaining things for me via text. Needless to say I got the new remote and the TV is as good as new. Been running a week now and is prefect.

I cannot praise and recommend nigel for his service and professionalism enough which is at a very good price. You will not be dissappointed.

My son rang Nigel to report a fault on my Samsung Smart tv; namely that the Samsung smart logo kept flashing on and off and that the tv was automatically coming on every two hours since Sky had altered the format.

Nigel immediately knew what the fault was and arranged to collect the tv and left a replacement 40-inch Panasonic tv with me.

During the repair he kept me updated on the progress and returned the tv to me two days later.

When he returned with my tv he then resolved the issue with the Sky box that had been caused by Sky when they updated the format.

The issue with my tv had been causing me much stress and sleepless nights, but Nigel’s friendly and empathetic nature instantly put me at ease.

He left me feeling reassured and even took the time to explain in detail, in lay terms that I could understand, what the fault was.
It was as he predicted; namely that the power board needed repairing and that the software on the main board had been corrupted as a result of the power issue.

My tv is now working perfectly.
I cannot recommend Nigel highly enough.
Not only is he very knowledgeable and professional in what he does, but he’s also such a lovely person who instantly puts you at ease, like a long-lost friend.

Had an LG47LA790W tv which lost picture and sound. Phoned Nigel to discuss the problem. After a couple of conversations Nigel decided it was repairable. I took it to him on a Friday. On the following Monday received a text saying the tv had been repaired and had been running for the last 4 hours with no issues. I duely collected the tv and it works perfectly. I asked for Nigel’s help with an old sentimental tv that stopped turning on suddenly. Unfortunately due to the age of the tv, the part needed was discontinued. However that did not stop Nigel from providing great customer service. He luckily had a similar model to the tv I had and was able to offer it as a replacement for a small fee. Not only did he hand deliver the replacement, he also set up the tv and even connected the network up for me. I was also provided with a receipt and a guarantee for the tv. Very professional and very friendly. Would definitely use again and would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable tv repairer.

Yet again Nigel saved me the cost of buying a new TV. I thought my Samsung TV had finally given up the ghost, no picture, just a black screen and flashing power light. However, before going to the large expense of buying new, I talked to Nigel, who told me it was probably repairable. He picked up the offending TV and supplied me with a "loaner" and low and behold, a week later, my TV is working and the problem, a burnt out main board, has been renewed.

All at a very reasonable cost and with the minimum of inconvenience. I would highly recommend Nigels services before considering buying a replacement TV as, doing so, could save you a great deal of money!

Nigel talked me through tests to confirm it next needed W/shop repair. Nigel messaged me later to tell me the two problems and a high and lower quote depending on spare part required. I received a very prompt and fast response, despite my initial email being sent out of office hours. Nigel was extremely helpful and obviously customer satisfaction is extremely important to him.
The tv repair was carried out quickly and efficiently, and the tv was returned within 48 hours (and this was only because a part had to be ordered, or it would have been sooner. ) Nigel kept me informed the whole time, and the whole service was excellent value for money.
I would highly recommend using this service if you are in need of such tv repairs, and I would have every confidence and peace of mind to use it again if ever I need to.

My 32inch tv screen went black but sound ok searched online for tv repairs came across Nigel after reading some reviews gave contacted Nigel explainec what was wrong then arranged for tv to be picked up at time and day convenient for me Nigel explained everything very well and gave cost all ok. The whole experience in dealing with Nigel has been totally positive from beginning to end. He took time and patiently explained in detail with me from my initial phone contact what he would do to fix my TV. He backed up the call with him in deeds. He called at my home promptly and on time. He took my TV away leaving a free courtesy set for me to use while I awaited the fix. Following the fix he arrived back at my house a few days later at a convenient time which he kept. TV broke down with no picture. Correct diagnosis by Nigel who took it away for repair. He left us another TV to use whilst ours was being repaired. Nigel is a lovely person but disappointed with the outcome of our repair although he repaired the original fault the TV came back with another fault which I was not prepared to pat any more on the tv. He did offer to buy the tv but I was still out of pocket on the repair. I did not take up the offer and bought new. Point being TV\'s can\'t always be repaired satisfactory these days so don\'t expect miracles.

My Panasonic 55in plasma 3D TV suddenly stopped working, I looked up on line for TV repairs and found Nigels site, He was not in my area but I gave him a call, he explained he was very busy but I could still bring my TV in.
From the information I gave him he already had a good idea of what the fault was, but still had to check in case.
I left the TV with him, within 48hrs I had a text saying he had found the fault and had to order a new board, and with this told me the total cost, I was very happy a lot less than I expected.
Within a week I had my TV back and working again, Happy wife again lol.

Nigel repaired my Bush Tv that would not work using my remote and the finger touch buttons on the side.

This companies service is second to none absolutely over the moon with the repair done on my Baird smart TV which is only 2 years old. The satellite dish attached to our house by the previous owner stopped working. We contacted Mr Sims who visited in very poor weather and quickly diagnosed the problem. A new component and replacement cabling was required and he agreed to sort it out there and then despite the rain and very cold temperatures. Once completed everything worked perfectly and all for a very reasonable fee. In addition we found Mr Sims to be friendly, helpful, and very straightforward to deal with. I would not hesitate to use his services again should the need arise. I recommend this company wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

I had an intermittent fault with my TV which meant that it would switch itself off and then back on again a number of times, which could happen at various times after switching the TV on. This meant that Nigel had to wait until this happened which could be 10 minutes, an hour or maybe a couple of hours before this intermittent fault happened. However, Nigel was very helpful by diagnosing the fault from a video I sent to him of the problem with the picture. Excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable, prompt replies and flexible with regards to collecting and delivering back the television. I had a problem with my 55 inch Panasonic TV turning itself off which Panasonic had suggested would be a costly fix or even a new TV. From the information I provided, Nigel also initially believed it might be the problem that Panasonic had suggested but wanted to test it. After he took it away and spent several hours testing it he identified a separate error which had not been easy to detect. This was less than half the price of the fix expected. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone. Thank you Nigel.
