I have now used Val for proofing and editing on seven novels - a picture of one of the front covers is shown to accompany this review - and as such I have found her very reliable, professional and thorough. With a service which I find second to none and good value for money I will of course continue to use her in the future and have no qualms about to recommending her services to others.

When I first contacted Val, I was a bit nervous, since I was unsure what to expect and how much I'd have to dig into my pocket for her proof-reading services. But I was very pleasantly surprised when she came back with the price and estimation of how long it would take. Once I gave the work to Val, she began immediately, giving my feedback regularly. I received samples of how it would be and once Val reached half way trough the work, she passed it too me to check before completing the rest of the work. It was surprising how much Val picked up, from the smallest grammar mistakes, to removing repetition, she even checked the correct spellings of historical figures in the work to ensure that I spelt their names correctly. The proof-reading changes were easily detectable since Val used track changes in MS Word, and her suggestions were very good. I would definitely recommend Val for any type of proof-reading.
