Everything from the very quick reply for the quotation to the moving day itself was outstanding. Very quick, efficient, professional and friendly… So much so that after they left I felt sorry I didn't have anything else to move!

One doesn't move often and it's not exactly stress free, but these people were really friendly and professional at what they did in every dimension possible. They were exceptionally good value and they solved lots of little problems that you don't anticipate (not being able to get something up some stairs). I forgot some things that they went back for the next day and didn't ask me for anything extra though I gave them something. I sometimes feel suspicious of very good reviews but you can see why they have so many. Particularly nice to have people who know your area. Great, well done lads.

Booked with South-Side for an Edinburgh-Glasgow 2 bed flat move after reading good reviews here and boy were they spot on. Movers were two of the nicest folks and if they were fazed by the extra flight of stairs (whoops, my bad) or the challenges of finding parking they sure didn't let on. I think our items (including some rather delicate artworks) arrived in better condition than when they were picked up - perhaps South-Side did some touch-ups en route? Moving can be stressful, especially when you don't know what condition your items may arrive in. With South-Side there is no cause for worry. If we move again they'll certainly be the first removals company I call. Heck, they made the whole process so relaxed I'm tempted to move again just on principle. Truly a 5* outfit all around.

I've used Rod and his team a couple of times recently, and they've been fab. Better than a large international organisation beginning with a P in fact. The chaps took great care of some special wood items we had and moved them with huge planning and care. Good fun, helpful, fantastic customer focus, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Also good with cats! The online/email booking all worked well and they were even better than expected on both days.

South-Side helped me move from Edinburgh to Glasgow (today! ). Definitely the best movers I've been with. Rod and Roland were cheerful, efficient, prompt and professional. They had no problems in moving 65kg down 2 floors then up almost 3 floors! It was particularly challenging too, as the staircase is carpeted. No complaint at all and just did the job. It was so quick that we had time for a banter! :) Absolutely great value given the effort and experience these guys have.

I used South-Side Movers for a small flat move back in March. Having sought several quotes, South Side were as cheap as any other, but uniquely offered to send not one but two men. They were unfussed but efficient and the move was as quick and painless as I could have hoped for. Moreover, they didn't complain when my inventory turned out to be a fair bit more than I had estimated. Highly recommended.

I found myself needing to organise a house move with quite short notice. Rod (business owner) answered my initial email query very quickly and was incredibly helpful when I needed to make various subsequent changes. They arrived early on the day, got everything moved quickly, and their manor was very pleasant. Moving house is usually pretty stressful, these chilled out - but very efficient - guys were ideal.

South-Side Movers transported my house hold goods from south Wales to Edinburgh dropping off goods in two different locations. The truck arrived on time loaded in half hour then was on its way, goods arrived safely in Edinburgh. We found the staff friendly, helpful and very motivated, nothing seemed to be any trouble. If I have any goods to move again I well be contacting South-Side Movers they made my moving experience stress free from first contact through to the last drop off.

South-Side Movers helped myself and my wife move to our first house in February of 2012. It was only a short distance from our old home but we had too many things to do it ourselves. The guys were very polite and straight talking and did an excelent job moving all of our possesions. As far as im aware not a single item was damaged. They could not have done a better job.

I used South-Side Movers last month. They were the first removal company I have ever used but I'd be surprised if I ever find a company to beat them for efficiency and niceness. I was surprised by how quick they were to give me a quote and how thorough they were at ensuring everything was organised. If it is possible to have a fun move the guys made that happen.
