Orsay House Bed and Breakfast is situated on the southern tip of the Isle of Islay, famous for, amongst other things, Whisky.
Islay is home to 9 world class whisky distilleries, 2 gin distilleries and a micro brewery. Not bad for an island measuring 25 by 20 miles and with just over 3000 inhabitants.

Orsay House B&B on Islay is located at the southern tip of the Rhinns of Islay, with a well tended front garden which stretches down to the mighty Atlantic Ocean, with a decked area where you can watch the antics of the local seals and maybe even catch a glimpse of basking sharks, pilot whales and orcas.
A short distance away you can often see otters, dolphins, golden eagles, white tailed eagles, choughs and if you are extremely lucky the elusive corncrake. He can often be heard but is seldom seen!

We are situated just a few steps away from our local pub which occasionally hosts live traditional music and serves an amazing seafood platter!
