Lovely place, always very caring with our pigs.

Great service, Roary stayed at Larkfield on several occasions and was very well looked after. I had previously boarded him at other places where the standard was well below par. Roary always looked happy and content when I collected him from Larkfield. Samantha knows everything you could ever know about bunnies and her care is superb.

Sam runs a fantastic place to look after every bunny! We always go to her to look after our 2 buns. They get Burgess rabbit food and lots of fresh treats too like cabbage and strawberries. She has various hutches and runs to ensure the rabbits have a enough space and freedom. Sam's an expert in everything about rabbits so we also go to her whenever we need advice. She's given us some great tips to help us bond with our trickier rabbit and care for their daily health with easy tips like a drop of pineapple juice in their water. It's incredibly cheap and everything is included in the price - including food fresh hay and cuddles to keep the bunnies happy and feeling loved! I wouldn't go anywhere else and can go away knowing our rabbits are just as well looked after as they would be at home with us. On collecting the rabbits, you can tell how well they have been looked after as Sam knows their personalities, like and dislikes so well. She also goes out of her way to fit them in, even when she's very busy. Ours are back off to hers for two weeks on Monday. They'll be very happy visiting their 2nd home again.Moreexpand_more

I bought my rabbit from Sam a couple of years ago, and when I go away on holiday I always use her boarding centre, I wouldn't use any one else she has so much love and care for them I wouldn't trust anyone else with my rabbit.

Sam always takes so much care of my bunnies. I got them from her and always take them back for their holidays. I would highly recommend!

Great value for money and Samantha really goes the extra mile to make sure my two rabbits are happy and safe. She always feeds, excercises and checks them regularly. Recommended highly.

Always use Larkfield for my rabbit when I go on holiday, Sam and the girls are brilliant. Sam's knowledge is superb and goes beyond expectations to ensure my bunny is looked after. Would never consider using anyone else, I think I would change my holiday 1st as I always have total peace of mind.

I have used Larkfield for two years, this will be my third. It is run extremely well, lovely staff, great space for the animals. It's a holiday for the pets too. I have no concerns about my pet's welfare whilst we enjoy our own holiday. Can't recommend it highly enough.

2 years ago whilst looking for some bunnies I came across Sam at Larkfield and after hearing the passion and vast knowledge she has with small animals I knew she was the breeder for me. After meeting both bunny parents and seeing the lovely nature of them both I chose a brother and sister pair that Sam had bred and waited excitedly until the date I was supposed to take them home. Unfortunately this date was delayed by several weeks as Sam wasn't happy with the slower growth of one of the bunnies and she quite rightly insisted on keeping them longer to monitor my little lady's development. Only when she was completely satisfied that both bunnies were fully developed and ready to move on did she let me take them home. The aftercare advice was great and I left there feeling confident that I could give my bunnies a fab life despite being a novice bunny owner. My bunnies have returned to Larkfield for boarding a couple of times and are due to go again in the near future. The Love, care and attention Sam gives to every animal with her is second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Larkfield for both boarding and also for purchasing a new furry friend. In short, Sam is amazing!

Sam is brilliant! My 4 rabbits are always well cared for and Sam is very knowledgeable. I wouldn't leave my bunnies with anyone else. Highly recommended.

This was the first time in nearly 7 years that I found myself needing to board my beloved bunny Poppy for the duration of our 2 week holiday. I was really worried about leaving her behind, however after meeting with Sam at Larkfield I knew immediately that Poppy was going to be in the safest of hands. Sam is clearly very experienced and has a huge range of knowledge regarding the behaviour and welfare of rabbits. It is very clear to see that she treats every bunny as an individual and is therefore absolutely deserving of this 5 star review! I would recommend Sam to any bunny owner and if required will most definitely be sending poppy on holiday to Larkfield in the future. Thank you so much!

We bought our bunnies from Sam, and only ever ask her to look after them when we go away. The way she cares for animals is amazing and we know we can leave our rabbits without having to worry for a second. I would absolutely recommend Larkfield for boarding and for anyone considering buying a pet rabbit. Sam is a lovely lady who always goes above and beyond for the animals in her care. Fantastic.

Sams incredible. Not only did she care and look after my bunnies as if they were her own, but she also fixed my little defect bunny who has had an ongoing stomach problem ever since I got him 4 years ago. Two different veterinary surgeries weren't able to fix him but a couple of weeks with Sam and he's come back a completely new bunny, free of any stomach problems! I really wish I'd met Sam years ago. She really knows her stuff, I'd recommend her to anyone.

A year ago we purchased two beautiful little mini lop rabbits from Sam Small at Larkfield Stud. We were impressed by how much care and passion she showed for these lovely creatures. Clearly this is not just a business to Sam, and given the time, effort and hard work she invests every day, is more of a lifestyle. She has earned our respect for making sure that her bunnies are going to homes where they are truly cared for, and not just being sold for profit. Both friendly, approachable and possessed of an unparalleled knowledge in her field, we cannot recommend Sam at Larkfield Stud highly enough. Even now, a year on, we know she is always there for us on the phone, helping us with any questions we have about caring for our beloved pets. Larkfield Pet Boarding is like a home from home for our two rabbits. When we are on holiday I can be rest-assured that our rabbits will be well cared for by Sam. I know that the rabbits will be well fed and be given the chance to regularly have space to run and explore. Sam is passionate about caring for animals and what she does. She is also very knowledgeable about animals and has given me lots of advice, being a new pet owner. It is great value for money too. I would definitely recommend Sam and her lovely holiday boarding for pets.

Went on holiday for over a week and left my super cuddly mini lop with Sam! Safe to say she took amazing care of her during that time! I even had my mind kept at ease with the odd text letting me know how my little mini lop was doing! Would highly recommend Larkfield Boarding to anyone who loves they're pets and wants the best care while away. Must admit I think my minilop had such a great time she wasn't best pleased being back at home hahaha!

I bought my rabbits from lark field and was great to hear that sam was doing boarding. It is fantastic for the rabbits they loved it , had a big cage to sleep in and was put in big run and was able to interact with the other rabbits. Tha place is great would highly recommend 100%. Thank you sam.

Prior to my bunnies first stay with Sam I was very reluctant about leaving them with anyone else. This was largely due to my eldest Bella having behavioural issues due to being attacked when she was a kit, this has left her with physical scarring and complex trust issues and leaving me feeling over protective. However after dropping them off Sam instantly put my worries to rest, she was friendly, understanding and most importantly her knowledge of rabbits was amazing. During their first stay the extent of Bellas behaviour became apparent. Sam is currently studying pet behaviour and asked if she could keep them on to see if she could help improve the situation, for no extra cost. When we came to pick up the girls, I was so shocked to see my Bella happily hopping around the yard, she looked happy, content and calm. Although Bella is still having problems integrating with other rabbits, she has now stoped cage biting, is much more obedient, less aggresive and so much happier in herself. I am using the advise that Sam has given us, to continue working with her and every day I am seeing improvements. Both me and my partner are grateful and so much happier with Bella after being with Sam. Naturally when we went away again in June we didnt hesitate in contacting Larkfield. Her hutches are a nice size and kept clean and tidy. There is a lovely play area for the animals to hop around and exlore. Sam is very attentive to the animals needs and extremely commited to the cause. To top it all off, her rates are extremely competative, infact the lowest priced in Bristol.
