First class rider traing really does live up to its name. Just retuned from a tour of Scotland with these guys the level of training, received and professionalism was outstanding. The hotel we were booked in was excellent, food provided was excellent and we were taken on some of the best biking roads I have ever riden. Overall a very enjoyable experience. To top it all we all passed the ROSPA advanced test which also indicates just how good instructors 1st class are.
Just had my step up day today with instructor Andy smith, after the lesson I felt 6ft tall and feel I can now ready any bike, I found Andy smith s instructions very clear, my first attempt on the slalom I struggled, with Andy s experience and knowledge he taught me by my third and fourth attempt I was doing it with my eyes closed, I found Andy very friendly especially when he bought me a full English breakfast. How anyone can put this instructor down surely cannot be as qualified.
I’ve just completed 2 days of RoSPA Advanced Rider Training with Andy Smith of 1st Class Rider Training Cardiff. Day one, low cloud drizzle & even periods of fog. Day two couldn‘t have been any different, clear skies, sunshine & dry roads. Frequent stops in the best biker cafés (Andy is on first name terms with everyone) to review what we’d just done & what was to come. Highlights of the two day’s for me, listening to the commentary that Andy can provide while riding. (I thought I looked reasonably far ahead but he is in a totally different league) & having an introduction to tutoring where Andy took the lead & demonstrated some of the more common riding errors. A thoroughly enjoyable two days with a very experienced instructor. Again, just take a look at his CV.
An exceptionally positive experience. Fantastic instructors, good facilities and so much more than just learning to pass your test - these guys will show you how to stay alive and all the good biker cafes in South Wales. I cant recommend 1st Class highly enough. Just look at Andy Smiths CV and you will now that you are in the right hands!
Took a cornering course with 1st Class Training and I would thoroughly recommend. The instructor, Andy, was informative and obviously an experienced instructor as he paced the day to the level of people on the course. I would say I am a much improved rider after taking the course.
After deciding to complete a Direct Access Scheme I contacted 1st Class Riders, Cardiff. Following CBT, Step up to 500cc and 1 practise session, I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 at first attempt. Thank you Simon and Andy for your help that was delivered in a friendly yet professional manner.
