| About JeremyJeremy combines ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ skills with equal measure. Originally a systems analyst, he is able to see where businesses are not working effectively and pinpoint the remedial action necessary. Having spent 15 years as a business consultant, he has plenty of experience working with a wide variety of businesses and has the skills to identify where a business can be improved.
However, that is only one side of the coin. Businesses are just people and Jeremy believes that, if a business is to be successful, the people in it have to work together successfully. Understanding that idea and knowing how to put it into practice are two different things. Jeremy’s expertise in coaching and teaching emotional intelligence enables him to assist his clients develop their EI, and hence improve their business.
Regarding people’s business – and other – problems, Jeremy’s maxim is ‘whenever someone tells me what their problem is, the only thing I know at that moment is that that is not what the problem is’.
