Chartered Institute of LinguistsWith over 6,500 members, the IoL represents the interests of professional linguists the world-over. Founded in 1910, it acts as a respected language assesor, and accredited awarding body.
Among its main objectives are to improve the status, learning, and standard of work carried out by all professional linguists. Members benefit from access to forums, academic journals, and training amongst other things. All members of the IoL adhere to a code of conduct.
