Zion Fortified - CharityZion fortified is a UK based international charitable organisation aimed at tackling the deadly HIV virus in the mother land of Africa.
Running projects in southern Africa providing antiretroviral and antibiotic medication to pregnant women, to give their foetus a chance against the virus.
Their belief is that by doing this they will be able to cut HIV at its roots as the upcoming generation will be free from it.
Enabling clients to cope holistically during and after the birth of their children, the organisation supplies individuals with a tailored care plan and complete medical supplies. With a fully equipped and staffed nursing home and orphanage and friendly voluntary staff, the service is intended to aid and reduce the spread of vertically transmitted HIV virus and take care of the children bereaved by the deadly disease.
Zion Fortified has managed to build a name for itself among pharmaceuticals, other charity organisation and big funding organisations. The company is currently running a number of events this year including their annual Mask ball at Alexandra Palace on Friday the 22 August 2008.
