| 4.05 4.0 out of 5 - My wife and I make a point of going here at least once a month and it's always lovely! We keep going back so that's testament in itself! The food did go through a bad phase but the new chef is top draw! Well worth a visit!

| 1.75 1.7 out of 5 - Called this evening for a quiet drink with my wife. One pint of beer and a regular white wine £8.80!!! Overpriced I would say. Expressed my views to the bar staff. Decor cheap and nasty - floor strewn with residual food and not clean. Windows dirty. All in all not a pleasant experience -will not be back an will also pass the word.

| 3.75 3.7 out of 5 - I live fairly locally but had never been to Zinnis before. I attended a group booking there on a very busy Friday evening. The place was packed solid, which i always think is a good sign. It took a while for our orders to be taken once seated but given how busy they were the service was quite prompt, the food hot and of good quality, and the price whilst not the cheapest, was quite reasonable. Portions were of a good size contrary to a previous review that I read, and a good evening was had by all. I intend to try booking a table on a quieter night for myself and my wife. I would also recommend the place to friends and family. One further point - I noted that they cater for those who need gluten free pasta which is important to me as my wife cannot eat normal pastas and we therefore don't go to Italian restaurants now as a result. Thanks to all at Zinnis for a very good evening and a pleasant experience.

| 3.35 3.3 out of 5 - How disappointing the previous few reviews are. I was visiting friends in the area (I live in London) and they took me to Ziniz for lunch on a lovely spring day - not quite warm enough to sit in the garden though. The service was good, though we were almost the only punters as it was a late lunch, and the one course I ate was very tasty. No idea on value as I was treated!

| 2.05 2.0 out of 5 - Nice looking place and I would still consider meeting there in the airy and chic bar for a drink before eating elsewhere. The food was (and I don't throw this word around lightly) poor. The scallops were small and slightly undercooked; I say scallops there was only one actually! surrounded by three king prawns. The steak was the real low point though tasteless tough and unpleasant.

| 1.35 1.3 out of 5 - Well where do you start. The service was very poor when we did get served the first course was cold and the quality of the food was poor, when the main course finally arrived the portions were very small. One thing to watch is the bill they have a habit of over charging for items you haven’t ordered mainly drinks and also you have to ask for your change back as the staff seem to take it as there TIP!

| 1.75 1.7 out of 5 - My 1st visit to Ziniz will be my last, we had to wait up to 40 minutes for our main course after finishing our starters. Absolutely appalling service by waiting staff, after complaing to the management, they still haven't had the decency to ring us back. Whatever happened to customer care?
