Zara - Beautiful Hair and Makeup is a mobile hair and make up business covering Birmingham, Solihull and Warwickshire, providing beautiful hairstyles and makeovers for weddings, proms, hen nights, vintage themed events - any special occasion. We also give makeup lessons to those who wish to brush up on their own application skills.
Zara is fully trained in all aspects of make up having previously held the position of 'Colour Coach' (make up artist) at The Body Shop plc for a number of years. To achieve stunning results only high quality products such as Clinique, Chanel, Bobbie Brown, Clarins, Lily Lolo mineral makeup etc are used.
Zara is conscious that some clients may have particular needs with regard to allergies or skin problems. Only 100% natural mineral make up products are used for these makeovers.
Zara can create the perfect makeover, whether a client would like a gorgeous natural glow, a more dramatic and stunning look or a glamorous vintage style makeover. We will ensure any client feels at her most confident and beautiful on her special occasion.
I am an experienced make up artist with a flair for Vintage styling too, Zara - Beautiful Hair and Make-Up For Any Special Occasion has years of training within the beauty industry, having worked within the beauty retail sector for over four years and having run this business for more than three years, Zara really understands the varied requirements that may be needed. Most importantly, Zara really loves and enjoys creating beautiful hairstyles and makeovers, the business has the enthusiasm and devotion needed to provide an excellent experience for all clients.
Zara and her assistant are both professional and friendly and make you feel really relaxed. Zara spent a lot of time with me during my trial and listened to exactly what I wanted. On my actual wedding day both she and her assistant were early and easily completed the hard job of making up 7 people in a short space of time. I would highly recommend Zara!
Zara is fantastic, very professional and a lovely person. She did my wedding hair and make up, my Mum's and my 3 Bridesmaids. I was thrilled with my vintage look and didn't need to direct Zara at all, it was as if she new my dress and style without even seeing it prior to the morning of my wedding. Zara is a brilliant hair/makeup artist, she visited my home for a trial run and was completely professional, making notes along the way. She visited me at my wedding venue and did my hair and makeup along with 2 of my friends. Highly recommend and am happy to show photos, kept me calm and stayed extra to help with my veil, such a lovely lady, many thanks x.

Zara is a friendly and professional lady who catered for all our needs. She was available to come to our hotel and fitted in my aunties hair the same day! She did a fab job of our makeup would highly recommend her.
I booked Zara for my year 11 prom and immediately after meeting her at my hair trial day I felt comfortable around her. She is very easy to warm to and perfectly friendly, and looked at the hair ideas I had and seemed to be content to try any styles I had in mind. Also, she suggested adding small details to the hair styles to make them better, which they did, and used very good products. On the actual day of prom, she put me at ease and made me laugh a lot! The result of my hair was brilliant and stayed in for the entire evening. I am so pleased I chose Zara, and would definitely recommend her to anyone. Her personality is lovely and her work is fabulous.
Zara provided a very friendly and professional service. She did the makeup and hair for my mom, my nan and myself for my brothers wedding. For my mom and me she put hair up and for my nan she did a blow dry. We had an initial trial with Zara and she did not mind staying until we were happy with everything. She came at 5:30pm and left at 10:30pm. On the day of my brothers wedding we needed an early start and it was no trouble for her to arrive at 7am to begin the work. Zara was happy to try our hairstyle ideas but also made useful suggestions to guide us. One of the makeup products irritated my eyes. Zara made the extra effort to bring along a hypoallergenic product for the day of the wedding which suited me much better. Thank you very much Zara for all your help, we were thrilled with our hair and makeup. We will remember you for any future special occasions we have.
I booked Zara at short notice. I must admit I was very impressed with Zara's professional attitude, friendly nature and above all patience. I built up a rapport with Zara almost straight away, she made me feel completely at ease. During the hair trial, Zara offered her expert advice, and was happy to try out different styles to help me decide. No style was too difficult to do, and she did not rush anything. I felt so pampered. She was bang on with my make up, knew exactly what shades would suit my darker skin tone. I do not normally wear make up, and Zara listened to exactly how I described I wanted to look. I had had other trials before and must admit that Zara's service exceeded them all. On my wedding day, I cannot thank Zara enough. She delivered on all accounts, both my hair and make up were perfect. She even went out of her way to help me with my accesories. She also styled my sister's hair which looked fab. Zara - I just wanted to personally thank you for all you did for me. My hair sytle stayed perfect for the whole day, and I did not even need to top up my lippy. I would certainly recommend you to my family and friends, and definately call on your services again.
