Y Goeden Eirin - Bed and BreakfastY Goeden Eirin is a small guest house of great character which is housed in a renovated cowshed in twenty acres of land three miles outside the town of Caernarfon. Use is made of local materials, so there are exposed stone walls, slate floors, beamed ceilings, and the furniture is a tasteful mixture of the traditional (such as Welsh dressers) and the modern. Facilities are up-to-the-minute, and the atmosphere is Welsh and friendly.
Not only is bed and breakfast offered, but there is also a small licensed restaurant for residents and non-residents.
The house is located between mountains and sea in Snowdonia, and is a good base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, but it also offers a relaxing atmosphere far from the bustle of city life.
Hours of BusinessY Goeden Eirin are open for business from 9.00 to 5.30 Monday to Saturday and are closed Sunday.

4.3 out of 5 | Y Goeden Eirin is a family home and I was welcomed almost like a family friend. It's a renovated cowshed in a peaceful setting, but the level of luxury is very high. There is a personal touch everywhere, lots of artworks, a Bechstein grand piano, Welsh oak furniture of character, and there are books in every nook and cranny. Food is of a very high quality too.
