WomenMeanBiz offers business networking, training and development, and personal support to a wide range of women in business, including those just starting up, entrepreneurs, Partners or Directors of small to medium sized companies, sole traders, and senior managers/executives in larger corporates in the South West. The organisation, which is based in Bristol, originally started out in 2008 and the owner, Philippa Constable is committed and passionate about nurturing the talents of women in buisness.

With monthly networking meetings and regular training workshops scheduled through the year, the company delivers expert advice and support to women in business. The membership is designed to be rewarding and fun, helping clients to build long term collaborative relationships with each other and develop their business knowledge and business skills.

WomenMeanBiz has an expanding network of groups, located in the South West, including Bristol, Bath, and North Somerset. The groups meet once a month for a networking, board room style meeting, which feature a guest speaker and a Business Surgery where members can ‘brainstorm’ ideas and can get guidance from others in the group about any business issues.

The benefits of a women-only group are evident when attending one of their lively lunches. Everyone around the table has a great empathy with one another, all understanding the challenges of juggling demanding family commitments, a business or career and running a home.
