The White House Nursery was first opened in 1987 and was the first nursery of its kind in Derbyshire. Since those early days the nursery has expanded and developed to meet the needs of "today's parents" and their children.

Since October 2009 White House Children's Nurseries is situated in a large two storey house which has been totally renovated and extended to meet the needs of all children aged 0-5 years. At the White House Nursery the parents and children will find a warm welcome where they endeavour to meet the individual requirements of all their family's needs. They value excellent communication between all their staff and parents which ensures a smooth introduction to the nursery for all their children.

As safety and security are of paramount importance to them, they have installed a finger print recognition system which controls entrance to the nursery and allows parents to decide who can pick up their child.
