Whisper Boudoir Photography is the brand new sister company of Amethyst Photography offering boudoir photography to clients throughout the Middlesbrough, Darlington, Stockton, Yarm, Teesside and surrounding areas, including Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle. The company, which is based in Stockton-on-tees, has just opened in 2009 and has already received great reviews from their customers.

Whisper offers a variety of services to all their clients, from a simple boudoir photoshoot, to a full makeover and even a bridal boudoir shoot.

They sell prints, frames, canvas, and albums to compliment their range of images.

Whisper Boudoir Photography offers their service to female customers from all walks of life aged from 18 - 80.

I had a Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot in April 2011, to give to my husband-to-be on the morning of our wedding. Firstly I should mention that before the shoot I'd never done anything like this before, in fact I'd never even had my makeup done professionally before! Also as a size 12-14 I'm not exactly a skinny minnie so was a little concerned about that.
However there was absolutely nothing to worry about - everything was great - the make up and hair artist was so friendly, made me feel at ease immediately and we were chatting away! My hair and makeup was exactly how I wanted it, she was very good indeed.
Julie (the photographer) was lovely, explained exactly what we could do with regards to the different sets, outfit changes, etc. She also accommodated any wishes I had for certain poses or scenes, and she took into account my body insecurities (bhudda belly!) and helped me with the most flattering poses - but never making me feel insecure or anything, in fact I felt great the entire time.
I'm not very good at posing as I'd never done anything like this before, however Julie explained for each pose how she wanted me to sit/lie/stand/etc, and suggested some nice poses using bridal accessories (e.g. using my veil). There must have been at least 4 costume changes and a good 5 or 6 different settings for the pics (on white bed, red bed, chaise longue, leather chair covered in faux fur wrap, studio with checkered floor, dark studio with different lighting effects - very flattering!).
I had loads of pictures taken, and Julie sent me the proofs a few days later. They were VERY difficult to choose from! In the end I managed to narrow them down and Julie airbrushed them, then I picked up the prints a few days after that.
I am so pleased with the finished prints and can't wait for my hubby to be to see them. I really would recommend Whisper Boudoir Photography.

I booked a boudoir photoshoot as a last minute surprise for my husband to be on our wedding day. I was quite nervous at the thought of the photoshoot but after my first phone call my mind was but at ease by the friendly staff. The photographer Julie went out of her way to accomodate me, phoning me the day before to check how my nerves were holding up. As they knew it was a spur of the moment thing, they pulled out all the stops to make sure I had my prints back in plenty of time before the big day. On the day of the shoot itself, I felt fantastic after recieving my make over which was very professional. I'm not the most relaxed when getting my photo taken but the relaxed, informal atmosphere soon helped me to get in to it. The photographer, Julie understands all the bits us girls like to disguise, and knows just what poses to direct you in to make sure you look your best. I took a friend in with me which made the whole experience more of a giggle. She was so impressed she booked a shoot there and then for herself. I would recommend anyone who's thinking about it to go for it. Seeing myself look so good in the photos afterwards also boosted my confidence for the big day.(and I'm no model!) The photos were very high quality and professional as was the service I recieved from whisper throughout. They achieved this whilst still managing to be informal and friendly at the same time. Highly recommended. Thank you Whisper.

I had a great time at the studio. From the minute I first had contact with Wayne, he was very friendly, inviting, and made me feel much at ease. The studio is fantastic, very modern and comfortable. The shoot itself was lots of fun, although I could have done with a little more guidance on poses as I am quite shy and not too clever with expressions etc. Overall alot of fun and got some great images. Wayne and Julie are really lovely and nothing is too much trouble.
