Walters Turkeys is a small family business producing Christmas Turkeys. The farm produces White Farm Fresh Turkeys, Free Range Bronze Turkeys and Organic Free Range Bronze Turkeys to both public and private clients throughout the local area. The company, which can be found in Aldworth (Reading) up on the Berkshire Downs, was established in 1971 and has over 35 years experience in the Poultry trade.
The firm aims to supply individuals and wholesale customers with a high quality product. The turkeys are produced traditionally. They reach maturity naturally and are hung for at least 10 days. All turkeys are killed, dry plucked and dressed on the farm in a purpose built processing area. The turkeys are then boxed with vacuum packed giblets, rosemary and a Pop-up timer. Having a Walters Turkeys ensures a perfect christmas dinner every time.
The company is run by Phillip and Julia Walters who have been involved in the Poultry trade for over 35 years. It's a family business with everyone helping out. Each order has that personal touch.
